I was pretty sure he wouldn’t win. Every once and a while I’d start to worry, but then I was like, nope...never going to happen. It wasn’t until my boss said he thought trump was going to win, the Friday before the election, that I really started to worry.

His greatest strength that raised him to power (believing in the best of everyone, compromise, and the strength of American democracy to effect change) is also his greatest weakness (believing the best in everyone is actively harmful when they keep showing that they are trying their hardest to dismantle a fair system…

That’s a really good question. I’m not excusing the mother’s actions AT ALL but I do not see how the father could live in a house with such horrific abuses against one of his children for years and also be innocent of child abuse himself.

Yeah this is all kinds of not making sense.

So, the father lived in the house and only now discovered that one of his children was locked in one of the bathrooms for two years? Did he think his son was on a really long field trip?

Really? He seems absolutely fine in this exchange. You can tell pretty early on that he got the crazy vibe from her crazy texts, so he backed off and was just hoking. He was never disrespectful and didn’t ghost her. He. . . seems fine?
