Rule #1 when I’m working on an interference engine doing a Timing Belt: Make sure I can rotate the engine 4 whole rotations without any issues at all. If I feel even the slightest issue, I stop and recheck the timing marks. I’ve yet to screw up a single engine doing that. And yes, once or twice I have found myself a…
Hey, my Beetle does this naturally due to 42 years of sag in the rear torsion beam. Does that mean that I’m ahead of a trend?
All this sounds like is, “I’m an elitest asshole that looks down on casuals and anyone that doesn’t want to spend hours every day playing a game.” Yeah, HotS is more casual. You’re right. But you know that’s not a bad thing. They’re going to get many more people playing this than LoL simply because of that fact. I…
If only it wasn’t so goddamn ugly. That thing looks awful from behind. They really killed the Mini for me this generation. My wife had a 2012 Cooper and I enjoyed it, but we both agree that this new one is just awful.
An airplane is still no small investment, genius. Gotta pay to fix it or get a new one...
I think it should just boil down to letting people do whatever they fuck they want. If it has no direct impact on you, and is not illegal, why should you care?
We had one of these come through the dealer where I work (It's a place the DeMuro likes to take his Ferrari's to to see if they'll buy it) and everyone was gathered around it, checking it out like it was some supercar. The guy that was working on it was telling everyone about how nice it was to drive, how it didn't…
I daily 2 older cars. My main one is a 90 Miata, not really old but it is now considered a classic in the state of Texas. When the weather is good, though, I also have a 73 Super Beetle that I drive. If given the choice, I tend to go for the Beetle. Both are super reliable and I've never been stranded (though the…
I didn't like the first one but played the crap outta the second one. I loved that game.
I actually really liked the look of the original Volt. I just hope that the new model has more usable (and comfortable) back seats than the old one. They were a bit ridiculous. And the interiors were a bit cheap for the price of the car, but GM has been doing quite a bit better on that recently.
But now we can't stop. Even for disasters. That's the problem these days. One small thing goes wrong and the whole project is put on hold. But we need to push through it all.
I just can't imagine how much data this uses though, if it's basically streaming a video that you're not watching.
Better yet, Mini Pickup
Sorry, but things like this are far more interesting to the viewer than boring Stewards Inquiries like in F1. Who the fuck cares about what some guy on some board says, but when 2 guys duke it out, that's where the ratings are. That's fun to watch. I saw this race last night, it was a pretty boring race until all this…
The way we check where I work is pull the door panel. It's a bit more labour intensive, but if there's a silt line in the door, you know it was flooded. And I can promise that almost no one will think to clean that out.
Fiat. You mean Fiat. It's not Dodge. It's not American anymore. It's a bunch of Europeans making things they think Americans will like.
I clicked over here from Jalopnik. I didn't realize it at first, then I read this comment and was like, "I CAN'T be on Jalopnik anymore with comments like this..."
Last I heard the cranks were blowing up because they couldn't take the stress and they haven't found a fix for that as far as I know.
