Have you used Hulu? It already is.

I expectingr streaming TV to be exactly like cable TV in the near future

I miss having an old shitty car people hate riding in, it’s the best excuse to not waste gas on them and their poor opinions.

My mid-2011 is still running well, but is reaching “end of life” in Apple’s eyes, so while I’m in the market to replace it, I’ll definitely wait until the latest is out. Single best, most reliable laptop I’ve ever had.

The best description of the Celtic languages I ever heard included the phrase “spiteful strings of consonants”. Dude had a point.

Honestly who the fuck cares what opinion writers think? You’re lumping a bunch of calcified hacks in with actual reporters, who are doing incredible and vital work. The NYT has flaws, obviously, but slandering their reporters with the work of their opinion journalists isn’t fair to the people doing actual work.

Rare ground beef. You crazy? I mean e.coli crazy?

I would suggest that the holidays can often be one giant emotional landmine. Better to do your fence mending when everyone is less stressed.

Is Life Hacker trying to help us live better or live lard-arsed? You body is a temple, not a rubbish bin. Crap you take aboard in your twenties and thirties can take decades to lose, if at all.

I logged in to share the same sentiment: fuck off with that asinine no-reclining bullshit. If you cannot handle the person in front of you reclining their seat then you are not meant to be on an airplane.

Get fucked on the no-reclining rule.

I’m still trying to understand the advantage of creating a drink that looks like a latte but would not taste like one without the milk.

The people of Troy are going to freak out when they see this.

Done.

What a load of bollox. I’m amazed at the stream of genuinely useful tips on Lifahacker, some of which have been life changing, but this is nonsense. Get some nice timber handled Tramontina’s bought at a few quid apiece. http://www.amazon.co.uk/Tramontina-12-…

It sucks for us devs too. I feel sad every time someone asks if there is an Android version of Balanced, and I have to say no. Unfortunately it’s a matter of hours in the week. Until recently I’ve had a day job and did app dev on the side, which gives only just enough time to support one platform.

Buy quality over time — I wear suits in my business probably 30-40% of the time, rest is business casual. I paid - 600-700$ per jacket/pants set(3 jackets, 6-7 pants), 100$ or so for each shirt(6-8), 70-80$ for a tie (5-6), 100$ for a custom leather belt(2), etc.. When you are an old man who was never “good looking”

I went from my.yahoo.com to igoogle, to Google Reader to Feedly. maybe it's time to go back to my.yahoo.com (since it got redesigned)
