Nonsense. Microwave poaching in a cup of water is easy peasy, takes literally 1 minute, and i very reliable.

We’re adapting our empty nest  to suit us, not a future buyer. Big kitchen. Big walk-in. Extra shower room. If the kids come back they can sleep in the big new lounge.

I’ve learned over many years of enthusiastic and well received cooking: Simplify, simplify. Extract the key idea and eliminate unnecessary steps or telescope them, eg pressure cook instead of simmer, micrrowave veg before final stir frying etc.

If you’re worried about your alcohol intake and its health consequences invest in a Garmin Vivosmart 4 (the cheapest one).

I’m one of the 3 people on the planet still using Balanced. It’s a beautiful thing and although it’s no longer supported in any way I’m keeping my fingers x’d that an iOS update won’t wipe it out, I’d be bereft!
