What gets me more is when the “jump” button switches between running and riding a Chocobo.

The same with quests. You have to stand in a particular spot, at a particular camera angle to get the Quest option to pop up, otherwise it’ll keep presenting a Talk option to you. I literally go between jumping, talking, jumping talking, walking away, talking, and finally Quest!

Meanwhile, this is honestly my favorite of the series by far in...god, years. Which surprised me, as I was initially pretty dubious. Still nowhere near how great the old games were (6 and 9 will always be my favorites), but they made a admirable attempt at doing an open world game and I’ve been enjoying it a lot.

I bought this launch week knowing full well what I was getting. The reviews were out and I was happy with what it was. I feel like if this hadn’t had the crazy hype train it did up to launch its reception would have been much warmer. I haven’t played in a bit due to destiny taking over my life again for a while but
