@khil1: There's a huge difference between being a good officer and being a bad officer, though. I'm also sure there are plenty of times where being a good officer is more than difficult. Being a "good officer" and doing the right things as an officer for the right reasons are completely different.

@Kirril: Or you buy into the dominant culture that going a couple times the speed of sound is awesome.

@GlennA: Yeah, I hear that. Sometimes you just have to have a couple reference books, pads of notes, and stacks of "failed attempts" strewn about.

Is it a horrible offense if I ask...

@jaycustom79: You're doing it wrong! Go, GO NOW, get some post-its on that monitor and random bits of notes strewn about STAT!

@hcho321: I've noticed outlet stores like Marshall's usually have *lots* of iPhone/iPod accessories at serious discounts. My guess is that there's a 3-6 month lag before the latest model's stuff is there, though.

@Vanilla-Terror: For me, that pastel baby blue turns a $600 pocket computer into a $600 child's toy. It just doesn't look high tech. But that's probably a good thing if it keeps you from getting jumped.

@Asa_j: Oh, that you were right...

Thirty dollars of material, that is not.

@say592: Just tell her you'll have to stab her back later.

Only 8 watts? Why don't you put a respectable resolution/size on that monitor.

@nutbastard: That seems much more than I remember NM's being.

The article doesn't state it and I don't have the time to sift through his site...but I wonder how fast he was going and what the speed limit was? Says his ticket was $90, so it must have been substancial.

Hmm...I wish they would have listed out of contract prices, too.
