gah all these posts about autocross is killing me. its only 2 more months!! then season will start back up. Seems you got hit with the autocross bug.
my brain just exploded. and so did the one in my pants. now when will see this kinda thing production cars?
225 is crazy expensive. if and when you get a chance, come show up to the NNJR autocross events. meadowlands is the northeast play ground for autocross.
leave the camry alone, it was never meant to be sporty. instead focus on a new supra? mr2? celica? and yes not everything needs to be a sports car. but dont spend the money to develop a car that was meant to be a people mover. the corolla on the other hand... should be given a chance.
Hello Jerry,
love it. older cars are just more visceral, and you can really feel the car itself. i had a chance to own a S30 (240z) man that was a joy to drive. one day i may be lucky enough to afford one of these older skylines.
this makes me sad because i know it to be true.
they still build motorcycles. and they are still considered vehicles no? but in a car point of view i guess you can be right. you cant count the Civic type R's we do not get in the US.
i had no bank account when i bought my first car. now it wasnt new but god damn it was my car! i worked hard and washed dishes to earn the money to pay for my first car. life has been a little kinder to me now and i can buy a nicer car, but not outright. of course im still taking out a car loan and yes im still broke.…
im sure Subaru can design their own. but I think Porsche still has a hold on the H6 design. im not too sure but maybe someone more knowledgeable on the topic may chime in.
for sure it resembles the Spyker more. but who came out with the whole exposed shifter mechanism first?
i was just going to say even the racing livery was reminiscent of BRE 510 days. i like.
it would considerably raise the cost of the car if they had to pay for licensing fees just to use the design from porsche.
the twins Gt86/BRZ has a 4 cylinder boxer. would be cool if they did use a 6 cylinder Boxer. Subaru does have the motors, and so does Porsche.
The inimitable Jack Baruth isn't sold on the new Corvette Z06. Specifically, he thinks that eight-speed auto waters down what was once Chevrolet's most extreme, hardcore Corvette.
