I am the Silent One

I see people "texting" all the time. And by texting, I mean looking at Facebook, GPS, their music player, and on and on. And in each of those situations, I don't do shit except get the hell away from them. Because getting shot by a lunatic would ruin my day.

Probably on purpose....

Oddly enough, it’s the only SUV/wagon that I don’t dislike. I kinda dig the boxy look, and it’s unlike anything else out there. The idea of putting a bigger turbo on makes me moist in the pants.

I didn’t find out about the sale until after they issued the recall (and the stop sell order). Getting an SS for $37K was a steal, and I really hate that I missed that.

Meanwhile, my wife refuses to learn how to drive stick and wants to look at Ford Flexes.

At least they have a turbo...

I bought a G8 for the same reason. You can have the best of both worlds, if you look hard enough.

Other than a broken ankle and cuts and bruises, she and the truck driver were ok. The scary thing is that it isn’t the first time this happened to her. Driving while tired is dangerous and real.

Just the other day, my niece had a horrific collision with a semi truck on the highway from her falling asleep behind the wheel. She works nights and has small children to take care of during the day. So she went to her boss and showed him the pics from the crash. He immediately switched her to the day shift no

I hate hearing that. Wishing you luck in getting your car back. Nobody should have to go thru that.

Maybe I missed this detail, but why hasn’t anyone lawyered up yet and file a lawsuit?

Having spent lots of time in San Diego and Orange County, ATL is right up there with them in terms of the car and motorcycle scene. I forgot all about Road Atlanta and A.M.P. - that’s just added bonus.

And you can actually buy a starter house there that doesn't cost $500,000.

I’ll co-sign that. The car scene in Atlanta is serious, and yes, supercars, Maybachs, etc are a dime a dozen there. I had no idea.

PS - those north Georgia mountains are delicious for canyon carving.

That’s wild! I’m not that crazy. I only lane split in heavy or stopped traffic, and I fall back in line after about 20mph or so.

LOL, no I am not ”the one”. But I do lane split. That’s why I read this blog. I think?...

I do it often. Occasionally I get pulled over for it, and sometimes ticketed. But I don’t live in Mass and the tickets don’t get reported home. So I keep doing it.

Boston rider. That big Harley you saw split right by you on 93 or 128 was me.

LOL, I just posted about some guy with a ski rack above. Maybe you're the uy?!?

I remember a few years back, I was snowboarding in the Wasatch. On this particular day, we were heading up Little Cottonwood Canyon on the bus, and it was snowing pretty bad... enough so that I questioned whether it was a good idea to take my rental car up the hill that day (hence the bus). Imagine my surprise and

I’ve got a good one for you. The last week of my senior year of college was no classes while you do senior week activities. That meant that me and my friends sat around and played Mario Kart and NHL 99 while drinking beer all day long. Well, on this particular afternoon, I dropped by my friend’s place as usual to hang

That’s exactly how it happens. You’re freaking out inside, but meanwhile no one around you cares about what you’re up to. It’s hilarious.
