"Even if Spike were to lose his soul again, he would still remain essentially the same because he actively chose that life."
"Even if Spike were to lose his soul again, he would still remain essentially the same because he actively chose that life."
"But as Khan notes, the study leaves a number of questions unanswered:"
" I have to be honest, I wish we could all try to remember that some gay men ARE feminine, and, by the way, what's wrong with being feminine? Why is that "less than"? Even more importantly, some impressionable boys reading this comic book might be feminine, too, and I think it's important to let them know that there's…
"Buffy has frequently had sympathetic vampires, actually. Spike, chief among them. But also Harmony."
I do not, so far, like what is happening with this new season.
There's nothing mild about my erection.
First thing that popped into my head, in fact. However, considering that the first movie was entirely based on an alternate timeline concept, the second movie really can't be based on the Mirror Universe...as that's merely another alternate timeline, really.
I was TOTALLY thinking Mirror Universe.
Including the Borg as part of the new timeline at this point isn't such a stretch, really. Considering that the comic series "Countdown" introduce both the Borg and V*GER as elements responsible for the technology of the Narada.
Part of the problem with your question is that describing "what feminism is" is difficult if not impossible. Many people have many different ideas, and feminism as a movement has had a profoundly intricate and changing history.
"* - And for that other role. But mostly, for the Joker."
Irony defined.
"behind-the-scences"?
Okay...in all seriousness I'm beginning to think that pretty much all of the things that make anything that George Lucas did truly AWESOME came from Harrison Ford.
I agree on the stakes issue here. In fact...it really does seem like pretty much anything after the whole "Reality Bomb" thing can't really hold up in terms of threat level. I mean, erasing every single reality as if it never happened seems kind of, you know, the worst.
I've never seen "The Fades." Now I have a new thing...I like new things. :-)
I don't think that I have a right to be pissed, in all honesty...as I myself am relatively new to the series myself - at least in terms of being a fan. But I do like to think of myself as a responsible fan...as I do my research regarding what I don't know or what I haven't seen. ;-)
Mr. Musk...what would you say is the biggest impediment to consumers adopting new sustainable technologies?
I'm not sure if there would be a reason for such profound secrecy, though, if he's the only one who could say it with effect. If you consider things like "The Girl in the Fireplace" where his name is shrouded others on a psychic level...there seems to be little point.
What do you believe might be the biggest barrier to consumer's adopting newer sustainable technologies?
