Anyone else think that the change from male Thor to female Thor is a needlessly complicated mystery? Granted, I haven't read any of the new Thor, but it seems to me that they didn't need to create a new character. Thor could have just been magically transformed from male to female a la Loki. Or should I just shut up

Thanks for laying it all out like that. I was only aware that the Morrison JLA hardcovers left out the main DC One Million series (even though that was by Morrison and was a JLA story) but I didn't know there were other issues skipped, although I'm glad to know those other skipped issues weren't written by Morrison.

I'm afraid to ask this, since I have the hardcover versions, but what did the hardcovers leave out?

Ain't that the truth. It wasn't all that much fun, not even with the Mads revenging going on. It really didn't seem to have much of a point, other than maybe genre exercise.

Man, hearing that he has to give up what he loves doing because he can't make a decent enough living from it makes me sad. I always enjoyed new releases from him. Also, I kept putting off seeing Pinback every time they played, and now I guess I never will get to see them.

You'd think that, but the HBO website pretty much specifies that it'll only work on iPad iPhone or Apple TV.

So, I can't use HBO Now even though I have a new iMac? Fuck you, HBO. Also, why would anyone want to watch Game of Thrones on a tiny little iPhone screen?

Call it Alienses.
I'd like to point out that the end of Alien: Resurrection (which I am an unabashed fan of, as well as of Alien3) set up a possible next film for Aliens on earth, which seemed to me to be the most logical path for the series to take.

The first example I always think of when considering this topic is Russell Crowe, who won for Gladiator (seriously?) when he should have won the year before for The Insider.

If you text him, ask him when is the Pod F. Tomkast coming back already!

Thanks for the correction. I never picked that up, and so I never did understand why the Ben Stone/Jack McCoy position had the same title as their underlings

Sam Waterston was not an original cast member. Michael Moriarty was the original ADA.

I always thought that line was 'Place is a madhouse, feels like being boned'.

So, this is not a re-boot at all. It's a sequel…to Bridesmaids
Bridesmaids 2: They're Ghostbusters Now

It wouldn't be debatable if she actually had red hair. But Melissandre (on the show at least) just has dyed red hair. Not really a ginger.

but, but Enver Gjokaj is in The Avengers as a NYC cop. How can he be a regular on Agent Carter if Marvel doesn't cast people in two different roles? Huh?

There's a joke to be made about the plot of X-Men: Apocalypse involving Apocalypse being stuck with Mr. Sinister's cat, but I'm not the one to make it.

Expect Part 4 to be split into two films: Part 4, Part 1 and Part 4, Part 2.

Upvoted for reference to badass Alien 3 scene. That was Charles S. Dutton, btw.

Origins as a film was not the right just-about-everything. Hands down the worst X-Men related movie.
