“Look at the new Saints Row in action!”
Well yes, it is a grind game.
Highly, highly doubt it.
I highly doubt it will be a transmog situation because it actually impacts gameplay. Transmog is monetized because it’s 100% cosmetic. This is basically an evolution of what they’ve already been doing in terms of targeted farming for weapons.
God it all looks so fucking good. That was an absolutely overwhelming amount of information they just dumped.
That’s actually not how it works. You can still have a kinetic special weapon, i.e. shotgun, sniper, fusion, etc... The weapons that are getting infinite ammo are primary weapons (hand canons, pulses, autos, scouts, smg’s, bows, etc...), not kinetic weapons.
It’s her opinion, what’s the issue?
So it’s sort of like a mini-offshoot of the James Gunn situation, correct? Seems pretty shitty that he got fired, considering that it was a bunch of bad faith actors who specifically targeted him and went digging for dirt. It seems like he’s changed and grown up since then (though it is ridiculous that someone would…
Yep, DS 1 and 2 have aged very gracefully. They still feel really tight and modern, and the visuals—while obviously dated nowadays in some ways—still hold up incredibly well. They made all the right decisions when they were tasked with leveraging that old hardware. Great looking games to this day.
Yeah for sure. IGN had an article where they interviewed the devs and they confirmed that they’re changing things, like adding the Dead Space 2 zero-g mechanics instead of keeping the DS1 zero-g, which is a super smart move haha
God, the sound of Isaac’s health regenerating and his breathing coming online gives me fucking chills, can’t help it.
Good article. The whole “Do we play as a pirate or do we play as a boat” line of questioning made me chuckle. Perfectly reasonable question for a game like this, it’s just very funny.
I get that the intention here is to draw more attention to the QA “grunt work” of game dev but the overall tone of this article is just petty.
Honestly this seems pretty awesome, the Switch made me fall in love with the experience of playing full AAA games anywhere I want, and this is just that but massively expanded. $400 is not bad at all for something that can play modern games on high settings.
Genuinely hilarious that nobody at Sony spotted this. Like, it seriously sticks out like a sore thumb in that shot if you actually know how the system is supposed to be oriented.
It’s ugly af for sure but it takes like 12 seconds to put it on the stand and then you never think about it again.
I don’t really give a shit about 4K specifically on a Nintendo console, but I would like to see a bit more processing power so that third party games can run on the thing at more reasonable resolutions.
Hey, if you ever feel like a colossal fuck up, just remember CDPR leadership.
The stuff in the sky seems cool but I’m kinda bummed that the stuff on the ground looks literally identical to Breath of the Wild. Like, is it basically the same map, just modified?
