Spineless fucking cowards. YEARS too late.

Gonna go out on a limb and say that throwing away batteries is worse for the environment than charging a single controller.

A character doing things you don’t agree with or understand immediately =/= contrivance

I moved God Powers to R1 since I have the attacks mapped to square and triangle.

I disagree for the most part, though I don’t think the game does a perfect job of threading the needle between its themes and its core mechanics.

And Last of Us Part 2 explores breakdowns in communication, the dangers of what is left unsaid, the extent to which we will commit to a lie in order to preserve our relationships, trauma, survivor’s guilt, ego death, and the ways in which we perceive our in-groups and out-groups, all within the framing of a

Yeah that comment seemed a bit backwards to me. Like, isn’t the ultimate goal that people can just be what they are and that their identity doesn’t have to be something that’s justified or made a thing within the story?

Saying Last of Us Part 2 is just a “violence bad” game is like saying Mad Max Fury Road is just a “car chase cool” movie. So comically reductive, Jesus.

Yeah it’s really annoying how the game forces you to have certain actions be tied to the same button. Bad design.

A lot of third person action games map sprint to L1 and I’ve found that this works really well for Fenyx Rising. Takes a little time to get used to dodge being L1 but I really like that bc it means you don’t take your thumb off the stick to dodge.

100% agree. I was really enjoying the game but I just couldn’t get past how bad the button mapping was. Finally decided to dig in and make some changes and overall I’m really happy with:

Miles Morales is neat but it doesn’t even hold a candle to Ghost of Tsushima or Last of Us Part 2.

Everyone’s got their different preferences and priorities but man, you’re being quite dramatic about the whole backwards compatibility thing. Yeah, it would be cool if PS5 played PS1-4 games, but that’s literally just not possible. It does play my huge PS4 library, though, and upgrades a ton of those games to higher

The PS3 was a completely different architecture and that’s why PS4 wasn’t BC. PS4 returned to a much more standard x86 architecture and that’s why basically any PS4 game works just fine on PS5. Ultimately it was just a really stupid move on Sony’s part to do the whole cell architecture thing on PS3 :/ At least the

Goddamn 2020 really was an insane year for Playstation games. I’m one of those people who utterly adored Last of Us Part 2, and Ghost of Tsushima was the best open world game I’ve played in years. Demon’s Souls Remake is absolutely incredible, and I like Miles Morales even better than Spidey 2018. I didn’t even play

Still can’t help but be kinda bummed that this game is first person only. Just feels like something that should be third person to me.

I feel so bad for the devs--the actual artists and technicians--who worked on Cyberpunk. Because seriously, fuuuuuuck the managers and executives of that company.

I very much agree with the spirit of the article but I do think the author took the wrong approach.

It seems that the focus of the award is much more about creative vision and design than it is about management. That said, the extent to which the award does speak toward management is the extent to which something like Hades obviously should have won. That is, if you’re taking this whole silly marketing exercise

Now playing

There are so many fascinating ways in which fandoms have evolved to this point where there is this deeply entrenched mindset of “We know best, always.” If you play along and just regurgitate their own opinions back to them and shower them with fan service, you’re a god to them. But if you challenge the dominant
