Okay now this is actually legitimately funny.

I for one heartily welcome the return of the console mascot 3D platformer.

Played for like six hours last night. My take so far:

It’s not a pile-on. It’s a funeral pyre.

It is absolutely hilarious to me that there are still people out there who think the highest score on a scale still equals “perfect.”

Detroit sucks so hard.

“Completely obsolete” isn’t really accurate since that stuff will still be usable in many parts of the game, especially PvP.

It’s literally the pinned tweet on the Insomniac twitter account.

It’s been confirmed over and over again today that it’s a standalone game similar to Lost Legacy.

As expected, it seems that the violence and darkness of this game is pretty polarizing. I’ve seen valid takes on both sides and it honestly seems to come down to whether this is something you’re emotionally up for (and it’s 100% valid if you’re NOT emotionally up for it).

It’s longer than at least two of the other Uncharted games.

Lost Legacy was a full-blown Uncharted Game, it just used the building blocks of U4. Looks like this will be a similar situation.

Jesus Christ, just say it’s like Lost Legacy. Boom. Simple, clean.

It’s a somewhat nerdy detail that’s easy to overlook if you’re not really invested in the tech side of it, so I sort of understand. I do wish it were wider knowledge, though.

I wouldn’t actually worry TOO much about game file sizes ballooning a ton. Since SSD’s will be standard across both consoles, devs won’t have to place redundant assets in their levels over and over again so as to reduce seeking time on antiquated HDD’s, since SSD’s don’t “seek.”

The slim (er, digital) one is fine; not great, but fine. Looks like a fancy router.

Looks absolutely gorgeous; I was REALLY hoping they’d let us explore beaches and oceans and it sure looks like we’re gonna get that.

Really awesome to see Housemarque branching out and being given a full new franchise.

Yeah I’m not saying it’s bad by any means, I just think it’s the only way they’d be able to pump out a totally new game in just two years.

This looks awesome, so stoked it’s a completely new game
