I was pretty worried about this insofar as it was a Naughty Dog style, linear action game. But knowing now that it’s far more open and Metroid-esque really puts me at ease and has me excited again.

The return to the Ishimura in DS2 is one of my favorite levels of all time. Just 15 straight minutes of nothing but tension.

A huge chunk of the community was stoked to see older D1 stuff come back, it’s a matter of perspective.

If Nintendo did this by basically chopping the pro controller in half I would absolutely get it. I love playing in handheld mode but the joycon are prohibitive when it comes to anything that’s not a 3rd person title or a sidescroller.

The character designs are just absolute ass. Looks like a free to play mobile game art direction.

Yep. Just pre-rendered trailers for games we already knew were coming out and some business announcements for Gamepass that I don’t really care about. The only cool parts had nothing to do with Microsoft (Keanu, specifically).

Honestly this is my favorite announcement of all of E3 lol

It runs great on console these days, they’ve made a lot of improvements.
