I’m so confused by this article. The AMG GT isn’t special enough, but the Project One is to special but then you compare Merc’s “potential” halo car to a 720S or or Aventador which are about as special, or not special, as an AMG GT.  I’m sorry but this makes zero sense.

Why does the Mercedes-AMG Project One not count?

6 sec. is not bad for 1400 lbs. more vehicle!

Yeah, like smoking pot publicly, tweeting illegal stuff and getting into unnecessary lawsuits. Clearly Tesla couldn’t make cars without his micromanaging genius.

20-40 in whichever gear is appropriate for the car would be a much better test.  Why pick an arbitrary gear for this?

Hmmmm. Not the best test. Why 4th gear? Some cars have 7 speeds, and 4th gear would be fairly low, compared to another car that only has 5 speeds.

I would buy it, put rims, coil overs, catback and CAI then post it on ALL the forums.

I understand that it's a team sport, however, I never enjoy watching someone taking a dive.

Lol @ Lewis screaming while driving.

Nobody follows the rules. They don’t. We don’t. Nobody does. There is the accepted understanding that both sides break the rules when it comes to arms treaties and as long as either side isn’t blatant about it, both sides keep their mouths shut. No country believes their adversary follows the rules and no country

Yes we do at a staggering cost. Dumb bombs are incredibly efficient/cheap at softening up targets but has of late been able to be just as strategic as the modern ones. Regarding the range. Not saying I have any internal insight into this at all, But, sometimes you go up to go forward. Think tests are 716 now. So I

I think this Army initiative is based on the assumption that air power would not be available at an early stage.

Yeah, I can’t help thinking that this would have been a potentially game-changing superweapon almost exactly 100 years ago (if targeting problems could have been solved in an essentially pre-electronic era — forward observers and their lines of communication might have been hard to arrange a thousand miles out), and

But I think there’s a treaty that limits their range.

We already have this, we call them missiles.

The CLK Black was so different from the CLK it was almost indistinguishable on a technical level. A triangulated and hand seam welded chassis. Fully adjustable suspension. Additional radiators (5) for the transmission, diff, oil, etc. Beapoke carbon fiber fenders and body panels. It was a money no object side

In any event, Perez’s hand was basically forced with the pending supplier litigation that would have stopped operations. Perez had to do it to keep the doors open.

My understanding is that Mercedes had gotten tired of Mallya’s refusal to sell. William Storey (Rich Energy) has had a £30million offer on the table for a long time but Mallya was saying it wasn’t enough. That’s probably right, but there weren’t any other viable offers at the time. Now, with Lawrence Stroll voicing

it’s adorable you think they’re comparable cars.

Safety is also a concept foreign to the great Australian culture, language, and people. In a country where going for a walk in the park or a nice swim are dicey propositions, you probably get more blasé about risk.
