Lip syncing has always been egregious with made-for-tv specials and pop stars. Starting with Ed Sullivan and continuing forward, it’s almost all lip syncing. Sorry :/

This is a made for TV special. Sammy Davis Jr. mimed singing on television in the 50s and 60s. It’s not a “concert” or whatever and you can’t compare it to one.
