IMHO, Damien Lewis is absolutely terrible at faking an American/NYC accent in Billions. Plus, his mouth does distracting gymnastics while he’s trying to do it, lol.

Nobody ever topped Ewan McGregor in Nightwatch. They should teach his accent in theater school.

I’d add Minnie Driver near the top of the list.

“He loves the pomp and circumstance”. Really? Because he said verbatim in an interview that he refuses to “play the game that killed his mother”.

I like Sussexodus myself.

I much prefer ‘Harmegheddon’ to ‘Megxit’ and ‘AMarklelypse’, as it puts ownership for the decision on both parties.

She's an actress, let Meghan play herself.

I think the Queen is in on it. See how everyone is talking about this now and not Child Rapist Andrew? Huh.

I mean this with all respect and no snark intended: Stop calling it Megxit.

Only Harry is going to Sandringham, Meghan is back in Vancouver with the baby. She’s skyping in. So expect 15 minutes of awkward can you hear me?” “Is Meghan on?” small talk before meeting begins.

So, the new plan is essentially the movie “Defending Your Life”. Good to know.

It’s a little less disturbing with Whittaker and Dhawan, not because of the gender flip, but because The Doctor isn’t acting as The Master’s jailer with her very life in his hands. Now, Missy was no shrinking violet and was savvy and strong, but consent issues abounded once she became his prisoner.

And Missy’s final redemption came the way The Doctor described alone and unremarked and unseen. He knew she was on the way to redemption, but never saw her decision to actually be redeemed. So thinking she just regenerated and returned to form would fit his concept of The Master.

Honestly I kind of like that, in the middle of a crisis, the Doctor doesn’t bother trying to figure out the relation between the Master and Missy. Is he post-Missy, pre-Missy, right now it doesn’t matter because she needs this time to wheedle clues out of him and that questioning isn’t going to help. The Doctor knows

I couldn’t afford surgery but I got it anyway :(

Thrillseeking, yes, but smart enough to be the one musical star who wasn’t in Cats.

You don't speak for me

Certainly it is no coincidence that aging baby boomers feel free to pull this shit with impunity. I’m not saying this is new behavior, but one likes to think they were more circumspect about it when a president was impeached for essentially consensual but power imbalanced sexual activity.  Now all bets are off and

She did fall into an ice covered pond and nearly died.

I think the best case this film makes for its existence is the time spent on the March sisters who are not Katherine Hepburn or Winona Ryder. It makes complete sense to tighten and focus the narrative on Jo, and to cast your biggest star in the role. But as we’ve already had a couple of deep dives into her character
