According to the link, the amount fined was the MINIMUM for a uniform violation of a personal message. Not the maximum as stated in the article.

Given that, I don’t really see this being all that harsh.

With the context of the pink campaign and the DeAngelo Williams situation, perhaps the NFL should back down on using

I’m for this. I know there are many who say that people should be paying attention, but they won’t. Plain and simple.

Driving is one of those tasks that will be replaced by robots because it has 2 of the 3 “D’s”

Dangerous
Dirty
Dull

Amen to this...I’ve been rear ended 3 times. Twice were the result of people in front panic stopping for a yellow (with red light cameras all over, people don’t even want to enter on a yellow and risk $100) I was able to stop, but the person behind me wasn’t.

Same here. I don’t know where I got the idea that they were amphibious, but I always thought they were. I’m actually a little bit sad now.

I cannot star this enough.

I know a guy, a rather large individual who had a lifted truck. He used the wheel to hoist himself up and broke the steering column.

Obviously an edge case, but it happened.

This young lady is what her dad is most proud of. He may have made it into the hall of fame, but she is truly his legacy. Well done!

I was wondering why the control tower livestream wasn’t working today. I had it on all day yesterday, but it wasn’t running today. The webcams are live though.

Opel 1900 Wagon. My Dad bought one of these off of some farmer in WI when I was 7 or 8. It was the oddest car to me at the time. In the suburbs of Chicago, it looked like nothing else anyone in our neighborhood had.

Good news, everyone.

You need to add a cliffhanger pause and a Waylon Jennings quip about the trouble “them ‘ol Duke boys” are in.

They didn’t have it locked, they clearly turned left at one point. It looks like after that happened though, they ran over the strap when it had some slack. It probably got caught around the control arm and tie rod, which pulled tight and effectively locked the steering from there.

4k tvs only have HDMI, and most video cards only support 1.4, so enjoy your 30fps.

Magnificent.

Add this to the list of reasons why you never leave kids or pets in the car while you run errands. This is funny now, but could have been tragic.

That is true about the cable, but I did have a problem with the first cable I used. It was a 10’ Insignia cable from BB and I couldn’t get a signal at all with it. It worked fine for Blu-Ray at 1080p, so it would seem to have been 1.4a. I got a different, shorter Amazon Basics cable and it worked fine. YMMV

I have a Vizio P603. Right now the only video cards that have HDMI 2.0 are the Nvidia 900 series, and even then you have to really check carefully because not every manufacturer added it to the cards they make. I got an evga GTX 970 and can push it to 4k at 60hz, but with reduced settings. A second would help, when

Ok, now do Chicago's CTA.

+1 Well done, sir. Well done indeed.

I'm thanking God that I don't have to see Chris Conte at safety for the Bears.
