Huzzah! Rapid-fire testing really is the best way to solve these problems. SpaceX’s willingness to endure the jeers from the no-nothing crowd as they launched rockets they knew would probably fail (they just didn’t know why they would fail yet) is extremely commendable and brave. And now here we are, only on launch 3,

Surgeon here. This is the equivalent of using it to “remember” what utensils to place at a formal dinner setting. It generated the headlines they wanted but they basically wasted $4k of government money for a lark. It’s not like the surgery was impossible without it or the outcome improved. The scrub nurse was

Oh yeah I thought that was the case as well. To be fair, that was Pacino’s lifetime achievement award. Feels like they could have put it on the backburner and gave him one for Heat a couple years later. Not like the guy wasn’t getting work still.

If the result of Emma Stone winning is more weird sex stuff from actresses in movies, I wouldn't exactly consider that the wrong cue.

I want it to be Luigi’s Mansion but if it’s not a straight up sequel to the first movie, I feel positive it will be a Donkey Kong Country movie.

It’s a world of pure imagination

My wife was squicked out by the wet fireworks.

It is going to be interesting. A lot of the analysis I’ve seen is that the opening numbers are high because of pent up demand. Basically there were very few movies in theaters, and those movies majorly underperformed, so there was extra interest in going to a good move when it came along.

Cowboy Bebop was done dirty by Netflix. It was a good show that was true enough to the original (like Avatar).

I enjoyed Cowboy Bebop too for what it was. I enjoyed some of the changes (though I didn’t like how they made Vicious almost deranged instead of, just, y’know, vicious). I’m not sure how I would have liked Ed, though, if they’d given it another season. When they showed up at the end, I wasn’t feeling it.

That’s my only real gripe. I think these kids LOOK the part really well. They just aren’t seasoned actors. I can totally overlook their acting chops since they are kids, and the visuals and story are really great.

Anyone who says its worse or as bad as the live action movie is not a serious person.

I though the first episode was really bad almost stopped watching, way too much action and CGI but you didn’t really care about any of it as you had barely met any of the characters for more than 5 minutes. I decided to see what episode 2 was like and thankfully the character and world building started giving the show

I’m only on ep6 so far but I’m enjoying it! I think the cast is doing a great job and they all look great. I appreciate they chose age appropriate actors. Particularly, I think Sokka is perfect. He’s equally cartoonish and ...not.

I had wondered about that because I was only previously aware of the movie’s box office performance.

Frog Legs are long.

“If you’re hungry, just drink water” would finally become an effective diet plan.

Even the crypto bros in the comments are back, everything old is new again.

From what I’ve heard from folks who worked at JPL, management there hasn’t been the greatest for a long time.

House of the Dragon viewership was pretty high and it was a big, buzzy program, so your take on the demand for GoT products seems misinformed or out of touch.
