“Buying a house” is the millionaire’s version of “renting a room.”

Wasn’t that the Rhode Island house? Doesn’t she still live there?
The word “love” should be replaced by the word “lust” in that quote about being young, rich and in love.
I would imagine that this is probably the best way to get some privacy. Obviously whenever they go out of their own homes they are being followed and so forth. A house means you can just see each other, heck you could even sleep in different bedrooms.
As a Finn: I’ve personally had 4 new cars, all from different marques and all have been direct factory orders. Getting one from dealer lot is not really a thing, except for test drive vehicles after they’ve done their thing. Also markups aren’t really a thing.
Regarding Cadillacs return: they might be at something this…
No such organization exists in the EU. Direct sales are fairly normal.
the entire supply chain, thank you! The automotive supply chain is incredibly complicated and deep
It’s a boring answer, but it really is the Model T, and there’s really no contest. The entire landscape of the country and world was changed because of it, it irreversibly altered how cities were designed, essentially created the idea of the suburbs, and a million other things. Others cars have done more for pop…
“hey contractors. This will be a bid with qualifications only your company has so you wont really have competition.” “man these bids were higher than i anticipated. Oh Well” Municipal bids are my job. Happens Aaaaallll the time.
What I don’t get is that with these being limited series, they presumably have most of them written ahead of time— at the very least, they’ve broken the whole show out. There’s no reason for all this backtracking with Thrawn’s schemes, other than just lack of care in keeping the threads tight. That lands squarely…
the alignment of the transmitter and receiver is important vis a vis efficiency of the power transfer as well. it’s actually not easy to try to get a salad plate strapped beneath your engine block to be precisely aligned with a salad plate on the floor of your garage. additional sensors, cameras, or an autopark…
Wirelessly transmitting that much power is pretty inefficient and produces quite a bit of extra heat. Ballpark an extra 30-50% on top of whatever you plan to pay to charge up the battery.

yeah, this is pretty murky legally
that’s what it sounds like happened. One must really be naive to think you would be his only partner. You knew what kind of guy he was and his philosophies yet still decided to make babies with him. SMH
RE: 1st gear:
Yea I’m afraid this is gonna be a “thing” now. Like masks but worse. Not only government bans but punitive taxes on them and of course on-the-ground fuckery like dickheads parking their coal-rolling pickups in EV charging spots and outright vandalism and road rage targeting EV drivers. Not to mention general…
I think there’s a lot logistical stuff that is getting glossed over with this article. The soil/pavement/substructure needs to be able to handle a large structure being placed on top, the area needs to not have high wind loads that would shear off the panels, there is inherently some risk of liability any time you…
Roiland looks like the kinda manchild who brings a board game no one has heard of to a house party and throws a tantrum when no one wants to play.
The later segments of the trailer seem to show the kid AI watching the robots in action, presumably killing people, so maybe it develops some empathy for humans as well decides to somehow disarm both sides.
