AKA “Kit Harrington has free time because Game of Thrones didn’t launch any of its main actors into A-lister movies and TV status”.

Not a chance. Game of Thrones is HBO’s flagship franchise - they still probably get to set their own budget to some extent, and I doubt this will be the only spin-off series.

Pretty sure there was a brief showing of either Blood or Cheese in there. Strong candidate for the ugliest part of the season premiere, if they include it.

I wonder if they could get away with allowing people to pay to jump the queue, or move up in the queue. They could probably squeeze another couple thousand each out of the pre-order people that way.

It’s definitely a sign of production challenges, but also a way to goose Tesla sales overall. They got a target of 1.8 million vehicles sold or leased that they’re trying to hit.

Still, last month’s sales of 301,378 passenger electric and hybrids were relatively flat compared with October, even as they registered a 31% increase from a year earlier, according to a company filing Friday.

It’s a pity they don’t have a Tesla trailer. One of the folks I follow on Twitter actually did a road trip with their Tesla pulling a small trailer, and there’s probably a lot of potential for a trailer that can easily integrate with an EV on power - allowing the trailer to pull from the EV’s battery if needed, and

That’s a dumb criticism. Even if SAF from biofuels can’t be made in sufficient quantities to replace all aviation fuel, there might be enough of it to replace aviation fuel for Virgin and British Airways - and it absolutely is more environmentally friendly than regular aviation fuel.

Assuming they can hit those production quotas, they’ll probably sell more cyber-trucks than you think. The target audience is 1)Musk fans who have put down reservations, and 2)the same folks who buy trucks with really high, boxy fronts because they look tough. I could see them finding 250,000 of those folks per year.

I can’t believe this guy actually found hitmen who weren’t secretly FBI agents.

Really wish we could just import these into the US, since US auto companies don’t seem to be doing affordable EVs.

Drop Shipping if it were a three-year cruise.

Paying for a one-way ticket to Mars with a reality show! At least we got a decent Simpsons joke out of it.

So they sold the tickets before buying or even leasing the ship? That seems extremely dodgy to me.

It seems pretty dodgy to me that a company can’t get official government correspondence because of a worker strike at a firm hired to do it.  What if you missed a court summons because of a mail worker strike?

Algae fuel is a bloody siren song. So many hopes foundered on the rocks of the stuff being so damn fragile.

It’s a start. Airlines might be able to market 100% SAF flights to affluent, climate-conscious flyers as well, although I doubt there’s a huge market for that - plenty of airlines have gone bust trying to be the “luxury” airline.

It’s nice to have a lot of money.

No, I know people who regularly consume pot and have functional lives. I was not being serious.

That varies a lot by car. New trucks aren’t going to get noticeably more expensive because of increased labor costs, but it does make cheaper, lower-end stuff more expensive (they’ll probably move more of that to northern Mexico).
