I live in the world where the beauty of various NBA wives isn’t really relevant to whether they’re conducting themselves “properly” on Twitter.

I don’t know what universe some of these people live in, but “she sits there” is a perfectly acceptable compliment. For a dog.
Especially funny since someone on twitter put up Ayesha Curry’s original infuriated tweet and the subsequent, much more measured apology for it, and said something like “Damn, from Stephen A Smith to Deray Mckesson in under an hour!”
She stepped out of line. She stepped out of pocket. I’m trying to sound as appropriate as I possibly can.
Did you ask your partner before you left this comment
“What is controversial about what I’m about to say, I will present in question form, rhetorical or otherwise,”
Ugh I can’t with Delilah!
My biggest gripe with Delilah as of late has been that her song choices dont match the caller’s issue.
Yes. She makes me cringe. The radio station my mom listens to carries Delilah, so we grew up listening to her. I don’t think she’s cheesy or corny so much as tone deaf or clueless. She makes me cringe.
Peer pressure to do it completely alone without any peers around...
One needs to recognize the influence that peer pressure and the attitude of having to fit in can have on someone.
Yup. I had a convo once with a guy who pulled all the lines about alcohol “date” rape: “I’d teach my daughter to never get drunk around guys” “Why’s she dressed like that if she didn’t want to have sex?” etc.
When people bring up the specter of false accusations or wrongful convictions, I always ask how it is different from any other crime. Or any other lawsuit. Yes, it is he said/she said many times. So are all sorts of other cases. Yes, there will be wrongful convictions/expulsions and that will be a tragedy. Just like…
But you have to add the component of "those scary prisons will ruin him so let's shorten his sentence and protect him while he is there". If this was just a judge giving a lax sentence, meh, charge it to the game. But this judge went out of his way to say that the kid needed to be saved from the prison system.
We hear a lot about “personal responsibility” when it comes to rape victims as well. Somehow, rapists never have a responsibility not to rape, but rape victims are always entirely responsible for avoiding getting themselves raped. And drunk rapists aren’t responsible for their actions because of the alcohol, but drunk…
I’ve lost two jobs solely based on the reporting of my case. I wish I never was good at swimming or had the opportunity to attend Stanford, so maybe the newspapers wouldn’t want to write stories about me.

Her comment on why she chose to remain anonymous is beautiful and lends even more power to her statement.
Can you guys (I know the writer most likely doesn’t choose headlines) call him “Stanford rapist Brock Turner” instead of “Stanford swimmer.” He was convicted as a rapist, so that’s what he is. I don’t give a shit if he was a fucking real-life Quidditch player, the horrible shit he’s done deserves to be branded on him…
2016 America: Where a 12-year old boy is shot and killed by the police for playing with a toy and it’s his fault because he should have “known” that people would see him as a threat, while a full-grown adult who rapes an unconscious woman and tries to flee should only have to endure a couple months of jail because…
