I’m more amused by people thinking that words are somehow an assault, or in need of a physical response. You aren’t threatened or in danger... observe:

Men of all races have been committing crimes over real or perceived slights on ‘their’ women, and the problem is that a) they think women belong to them and b) they think ‘their’ women are an extension of themselves and their own honor.

Is slapping a child physical violence? Is slapping a woman physical violence? Slap a cop is physical violence and will get you arrested (or worse). So what threshold makes it not physical nor violence?
