The scene where Supes learns to fly? Gives me chills every time I see it. Also, the interplay between Faora and Christopher Meloni (ie: this is a good death) is always a delight to see.

It’s honestly too bad. I’m not a fan of Man of Steel, but I tend to think of it as kind of a noble failure. It’s got some good stuff in it! There are some good ideas, and Cavill is incredibly well cast. I get why people enjoy it.

Couldn’t agree with you more. I absolutely LOVE the Marvel Cinematic Universe and have at least enjoyed all of the 18 films they’ve put out. That being said? Man of Steel is my favorite superhero movie of all time. I didn’t want a cheesy Reeves-esque Superman, and I’ll take Synder’s take on him any day - Zod’s neck…
