See my comment above — I drive a company vehicle for work, and if I really need to go anywhere in the winter, I can use my wife’s car. Ford does offer a winter wheel package for the RS, but since I do not really need the car, I would rather avoid salt damage if I can. 

Cup 2s and cold weather do not work and play well together. Michelin recommends not driving on them below 40° due to reduced adhesion, and driving on them below 20° can crack the rubber.
