Love from Spirit was definitely a keeper.   My wife was carrying a nice Coach purse, and she ended up emptying it out into her carry on and gave the purse to Love as a thank you.

Or not.

We ended up paying $0.00 out of pocket for something which was really our own fault -- we did not know about the remodeling & security gate closures, but that is the kind of thing that we should have researched before picking what time we would get to the airport.  Everyone’s mileage varies.  I could tell you my own

My wife & I missed a flight from MSP to San Francisco a couple of years ago thanks to the construction that was going on at the airport to prepare for the Superbowl — only one security gate was open, and the line was insane. We were actually traveling with friends who did get through on time, and ended up taking off

To be fair, no, he should never have jumped out in the first place.   Unless he leapt away laterally to try to clear everything, but even at that he would have been far safer riding it out into the water.   There was not going to be a happy ending here.

Many decades ago, I worked one summer at the Interstate Park in Taylors Falls, MN. One of the other teens & I were watering trees one day, which consisted of backing an old Jeep pickup down the boat landing, and pumping river water into a large stock tank in its bed. There was a small hose attached to the bottom of

The battle scenes have a real sense of scale to them, but they haven’t aged well. That’s mostly because the war movies that came out in the decades since The Longest Day have changed our idea of how war looks. 1998’s Saving Private Ryan, a movie that’ll eventually show up in this column, depicts that same storming of

While all of the CGI additions that you mention are indeed well done, and proof positive of Fincher’s meticulous attention to detail, the one that blew my mind was when I found out that he did NOT shoot Paul Stine’s murder at the corner of Washington & Cherry, but rather on an open intersection, with all of the

No, the funniest moment was Bobby Cannavale's "You put the dime in him, you gotta let the whole song play."  But his "Baba Yaga" was a close second!

“Lost"?  Doesn't that imply, "Once had"?

Doubly ironic for them that Captain Marvel is now less than $10 million from passing both Civil War & Iron Man 3 on the all time domestic charts. That will make it the second highest grossing “solo” MCU film, with only the three Avengers movies (so far) between it and Black Panther.   So their boycotts &

This song does not get enough love. That video does not not get enough love. The entire All Hands on the Bad One album does not get enough love.

I don't feel so good.

Oh, yeah, sure, Freda, sure. She was the oldest living Lutheran, now she’s dead as a doornail. It’s the damn Shriners who won’t take down the Goddamn sign, the lazy sons of bitches. Every year, every damn year, I tell ‘em, ‘Take down the Goddamn Freda sign, you lazy sons of bitches!'"

Any lawyer who could keep GM from publicly executing Patrick George is indeed a lawyer of amazing prowess.

See my comment above I drive a company vehicle for work, and if I really need to go anywhere in the winter, I can use my wife’s car. Ford does offer a winter wheel package for the RS, but since I do not really need the car, I would rather avoid salt damage if I can.

Cup 2s and cold weather do not work and play well together. Michelin recommends not driving on them below 40° due to reduced adhesion, and driving on them below 20° can crack the rubber.

Yeah, we have had Bill Murray in a zombie comedy before.   But Jim Jarmusch?  Sold!

Well, my 2017 is long paid off, and I have no intentions of letting it go. Still only 6500 miles on the clock, too, since I drive a company vehicle for work.

How about after a fresh wash yesterday, now that it is warm enough for me to take the thing out?
