Sigh.
Sigh.
I do not understand people who keep saying others are drawing equivalence when they are doing no such thing. That is not remotely happening here.
“Ten minutes later, the server from her table came wide eyed into the kitchen and told my manager that Lobster Lady was demanding to be paid royalties for suggesting that we put paprika on our lobster tails. She was not joking.”
I have been an avid bicyclist since I was in my teens. When it comes to riding a bike, for safety’s sake I just assume that 100% of the cars out there are driven by sociopaths who are out to kill me. I have to do everything in my power to stay out of situations that put me at risk. There is not really an analogous…
Mother of God, what a ridiculous series of black-and-white justifications. Not one person who has pointed out that the rider passed multiple cars over the double lines and then cut very close around the second car has said one word to exonerate the car for swerving into him. But according to some, if you point out the…
Hey, I really like Carey Lowell, never fear. And I certainly agree that personality is an important part of a woman’s beauty; in fact, I would argue that it is the most important part. However, the word “gorgeous” is generally applied to physical beauty, and I think that is how most people would take it.
Underrated? FRwL is generally considered one of the best, and often THE best, of the entire series. For good reason.
Better that than a stanced girl and a pregnant car.
Except that your post says “most gorgeous.” Personality was not mentioned. You want to talk personality, and Diana Rigg wins by a country mile.
Also made great by the fact that the actress playing his “secretary” is acting like she is genuinely in heat. The way that she keeps calling his name. . . It makes you believe that she has kept him “working” to exhaustion!
A few points for you, Justin.
Subtract Lowell and put the same film’s Talisa Soto in, and perhaps.
(sighs.) Back to the salt mines. . .
Skip OHMSS, and no, you cannot be a fraction wrong! (However, leaving out Dr. No in favor of Casino Royale is perfectly acceptable.
It is well worth doing. Seeing Casino Royale & Quantum back-to-back shows a surprising amount of continuity, and not just because the latter answers some questions left over from the former. Despite the copious flaws in Quantum, it does a very good job of further developing the Bond character from Casino. In fact,…
I am also trying to figure out if everyone who is emphatically referring to how unplayable 1 is, and the others who are emphatically saying how unplayable 2 is, are referring to the release versions or the enhanced versions. Because even at the times that they were released, there was a huge difference, let years…
Bingo! Much like the Gothic/Risen games, it is a matter not so much recognizing attacks as it is of recognizing attack timing and exploiting it.
“A little harder than typical” is exactly the sweet spot that I am going for. Ironically, that is why I bought the car new and passed up a few good deals on used ones — because of the fear that the previous owner(s) might have beaten the hell out of it. Since I drive a company car for work (hence the limited miles…
