I was driving by a small-town used car dealer along my sales route a few months ago when I spotted a nice looking Focus ST. I turned around to check it out, and was surprised to see a Hennessey badge on the back. I had not even known that Hennessey did an ST mod. It had around 20,000 miles, with some pretty serious…
I keep feeling a bit jealous reading stories about cars like the ATS-V, when I “only” have 252 hp in my Focus ST. Then I get behind the wheel, put my foot down, and dislocate my shoulder with the torque steer.
That is why I really want a 2016 CTS-V. That will wreck shit with even more authority. Including me.
“I watched from the corner as Sara took them their wine glasses. And I watch as she tottered over with a large, fruit-filled pitcher of sangria. And I watched as she lifted the pitcher high over the wretched woman’s head...and dumped it all over her.
Speaking as a Wisconsin resident who did not vote for Walker —
I was going to share that on Facebook, but then I realized that the narrow confluence of people on my friends list who would get both the Wes Anderson references AND the Metal Gear ones consists of one person.
One of the most valid complaints about Tequila Sunrise is how weak the ending was. That led one reviewer at the time to make a pretty silly comparison to Chinatown. I wish that I could remember who wrote the review, but the person said that it was a painfully weak ending coming from the person who wrote Chinatown. The…
I played PoE pretty much right after Original Sin, and I had a similar reaction. I did not hate it, but the combat just did not work for me after the genuinely fun turn-based stuff in DOS. With the new patch that allows party AI, I may give it another shot.
It is nice to see when she stands up for free speech in journalism. I am sure that Martin Bashir was equally glad to get her support.
Oh. Never mind.
Come back when your mood swings back the other way.
I live just outside the Twin Cities, and while I agree that there are a lot (i.e., far too many) on the roads, “It’s not as ugle as it seemed when it first came out” is damning it with mightily faint praise.
Apple Valley is just the kind of area that would offer this kind of attraction!
“Yet not everyone plays games to compete, or to share, or to show off. I play games to escape, by myself, and it’s fantastic that in 2015 a company was willing to still put time and money into making something as grand, generous and personal as The Witcher 3.”
And here I thought that a cop would never get COTD. Without even intending it.
THIS. My favorite car from all of the films, hands down. And unlike the lovely Volante from The Living Daylights, this one did not get tarted up with ludicrous gadgets. God bless Peter Hunt for wanting to tone things down!
“The service manager pulled out his wallet and paid me in cash out of his own pocket when I explained what happened.”
$25,000.
Bingo. Well, O.K., bingo for the principle, not so much for the Hyundai.
Just like how people confuse a thread relating to one story with another? ;)
I worship Aston Martin as much as the next Bond fanatic, but one of the biggest crying shames in the newer Bond films is that they have not put Daniel Craig into a modern Bentley like a Continental GT Speed. That would have been a great way to throw a shout-out to fans of the books that most casual viewers would not…
