Anecdotally, I noticed in my local Futureshop here in Vancouver, that there were still XB1s available, but not a PS4 to be seen.

The store my wife works in over here in Australia still has heaps of Xboxes to sell. They pretty much only sold the ones that were preordered (about 20 or so) the rest are just sitting there on the shelf.

All the while the Xbone is lacking the rechargeable batteries that the PS4 gives you in every controller. That's an extra $25 for every controller you have unless you want to play with a long cord, or continuous battery cost.

Pathetic ;D 100$ more and it has nothing to do with fucking gaming. When people buy a console its for gaming not to talk on skype and multitask with internet TV and skype + a game. Thats why i really hope Xbox just fails during this generation because Sony knows that they are making a gaming console and they focus on

You assume that people actually want the "camera", most core-gamers don't as it barely matters to them. But unlike Sony, MS doesn't give them any choice, you are forced to buy that stupid "camera".

Ps4 also has voice and gesture control. Hell ps2 did. Ive use xone's controller and own a dualshock 4, i prefer ds4. Ps4 also has second screen tech. I dont want tv stuff. Games dont get free access to the cloud on xone. Both devs and users pay for it. Vita also has app switching, ps4 will too. Vita also has skype and

My part of the point is that with the PS4 it's optional. You're not being forced to purchase a piece of hardware you may not want. If you look at it your way, if you purchase a play and charge kit for your Xbox One controllers, the price delta is back up to $100, or more if you don't buy a PS Eye. PS4 controllers all

The PS4 is pushing way more pixels than the X1 (44% according to a comment) and still drops less frames overall.
Um.

Sorry, Xbox lost, people won, and PS4 has been and it continues to win.

I can see this being something that Best Buy might use as a marketing tool. Don't have the internet? For the low price of $150 you can have Geek Squad set up you Xbox!!!

I wouldn't call them pussies; bullies maybe...

More like people won.

Xbox lost.

And who says complaining never solved anything?

Xbox Live Arcade is locked and there are games that have never been on sale or dropped in price... since launch. There is zero proof prices will fall or be cheaper in this scenario because there is no competition on locked hardware.

time and time again people make this argument about having a stable connection. ITS NOT MY CONNECTION THATS THE PROBLEM its their servers. As we have seen with EVERY game that required some type of online drm, we see their servers fail after massive demand and its even worse when its not a particular game but a

"it is still a very capable gaming platform."

A lot of the same people who are saying here and now that Xbox One will "do fine" are the same people using the same arguments to once again dismiss an overpriced, mostly underpowered console with fundamental design flaws that undermine whatever changes and/or price drops that might be attempted.

The primary differences between Steam and the XBox One are a.) You can put Steam offline if you know you'll be taking a trip away from internet and want to take your laptop full of single player games with you, and b.) Steam has 25-90% off sales on a fairly regular basis, and prices drop permanently on Steam over time

I don't know, their other products aren't exactly setting their respective markets on fire, are they? Window 8 Phones are always miles behind the likes of iPhone and Samsung's lines, Windows tablets are never first choice, even Windows 8 OS has completely failed to be the success they wanted it to be, with many people

What else do they have in the consumer entertainment division other than the XBox and it's services? Zunes gone and Music has been brought under the XBox brand, gaming on their other devices (mobile phone) have been brought under the XBox brand. They've all but killed their Media Centre efforts in a shift to make the
