Schedule interruptions. If I'm swamped I'll put a sign in the window of my office saying "busy, available at 1:00 or via email" and just keep outlook off for an hour or so. If anything is "mission critical" (ewww, corporate lingo) I'll get a phone call.

I got two old cast-off GPS units from my dad a couple months ago. I have since taken the kids geocaching a number of times and they have all enjoyed it. So far I've got a few here in CA, a few in Reno and a few in Des Moines (Can you save the Princess?).
