Disclosure - I am supportive of animal testing that is both necessary and ethically conducted, and scientifically rigorous.
Having said that - these experiments seem to have been neither ethically conducted or scientifically rigorous. So, that’s a whole lot of animal suffering and death for sweet nothing.
This leaves me

Good heavens, the woman is a real life troll. No longer content with roaming the internet, she has manifested in real life to troll there.

You seem to have conflated the two parts of my comment.

“Men are afraid that women will laugh at them. Women are afraid that men will kill them.”
Margaret Atwood.

Wow. So, either a friend who really doesn’t want to meet the police, or an interesting conversation about who gets the “credit” for being beaten up by one person. No wonder he’s lying so much.

Sounds like the faith those breakaway schools held was faith in racism.

Another day, another negligent homicide by law enforcement. That neck hold is known to be dangerous. They clearly did not care, at minimum, whether their target lived or died.

Why am I deeply unsurprised that “four animals” turned out to be just one person? Guess his personal “tough guy” self-image combined with his racism to make the usual “these two guys” into four. Because goodness only knows, he can’t admit that he was beaten up by one man. And it had nothing to do with politics. Just

Knowing that intellectually, and experiencing it personally, are two different things. Not to mention, staying too long on the show could be detrimental to her ambitions as a serious actress.

Gee, I wonder why.

Worrying.

The actions of the police chief are surprisingly hopeful. Played the video, officer suspended without pay, recommended to civilian police merit board that the offending officer be fired.

Not surprising. Racism is apparently very common in South Korea, according to these articles. These are Kinja-style “links”, so copy/paste is needed.

I want to comment on this, but it’s just too awful. It seems women get blamed for everything. If she stands up to her abuser, she shouldn’t have “provoked” him. If she doesn’t stand up to her abuser, she is blamed for being “weak”. If she leaves with her children, she is blamed for preventing the father from seeing

Definitely objectification. They don’t speak, they don’t really do anything except hold and open the briefcases. They are, essentially, nothing but briefcase-holding objects. It really is catering to the (straight) male gaze, though, to have only pretty women doing the briefcase-holding. Even having even numbers of

I’m team woman on this one. I see the colour of both people involved, and I feel that gender is more relevant here. Overwhelmingly, when domestic violence/intimate violence occurs, the woman is the victim and the man the perpetrator. While domestic violence where the perpetrator is female and the victim is male does
