I always think about the fact that the lowliest benchwarner on any given professional team was The Guy With The Ball at every other stage of their career. It’s so easy to forget.

This is what I’ve been saying for years! Same deal with the NBA summer league. The regular season games are objectively higher quality and they feature characters we’re more familiar with, but preseason/summer league games have raw human drama. 

Kaepernick playing behind that line on that team would just validate all of the mouth breathers who said he wasn’t getting signed because he was bad. I would rather not watch him get demolished and then benched in week 7 while the wet president tweets about it.

If only there was an unemployed QB that previously took his team to the Super Bowl available...
