Then the TOS is morally and ethically bankrupt because it is enforced more effectively against people discussing the abuse they face than it is against the people doing the abusing.  It is literally failing and then being used to silence the people who call it out for failing.

It’s ok for streamers to be banned for talking about the abuse they receive, but not ban the abusers?

I could understand if this was automated following the bad faith avalanche of reports, but I imagine appeals are also automated at this point... and if a human saw the appeal and decided it wasn’t valid — well, just proves Twitch moderation is pretty crap, but then again, that’d be nothing new...

Kotaku has quickly become the garbage negative bully reviewer. I used to come here for great articles with honest opinions but now it’s like you’re trying to find issues with every single game. Look not everything you enjoy is everyone else’s cup of tea. First off. You’re not “shooting” anything It’s a gat dang flash…

That’s like saying speedrunning games is pointless because a TAS will be better. 

I wouldn’t write it off based on this one review. Every other one I’ve read has been pretty overwhelmingly positive. Kotaku has become notorious for writing negative, condescending, clickbait titles since the scandal a few years back and subsequent staff changes. I only come to scan headlines and see if I’ve missed…

The “shooting” part, which admittedly isn’t the strongest point, ends up being such a small percentage of the game it seems weird to focus on it at all.

Heaven forbid a video game be a game. Like wtf is turns into gamey gametown? That’s like saying “Citizen Kane was great but then it descends into filmy filmtown.” Yeah, that’s what it is.

Still get a kick out of Square Enix selling off all their Western properties so they could get into the NFT market just as the bottom fell out.
