I mean, it’s a super old joke and therefore really lame but it’s not only somewhat true but also really inoffensive.

Then you never had Xbox 360 controllers and a really rare case with your N64 controller.
Me for the last ten years: “I want to have a third person Gundam singleplayer game where I can have those fast, exciting speed battles of the anime with a good story”
Bandai Namco: “Here is Gundam Overwatch!”
FFXIV has the benefit of being “new” without multiple established lore behind its back or a legacy audience to satisfy, and they’re doing a damn good job. I also heavily prefer the combat of FFXIV.
It’s also hard to ignore how crazy diverse and good the music is.
theres tons of grind in FF14 dont let these casual folks fool you.
The game felt slower than friggin’ WoW
The problem with that is that you get into Diablo territory real fast which just makes everything harder to read since 20 digit damage numbers take up a ton of screenspace.
Disgaea doesn’t have to care about that since it’s turn-based.
I love how shit like this exists since CoD4 or MW2 and it still isn’t fixed.
I can see a lot of “You’re the standard toxic FFXIV player” comments coming but I’m very skeptical of this:
Yes, but only after they willingly released a product in horrible condition, especially on consoles, made with a ton of crunch time which they tried to bribe themselves out of, even though they stated that they would take enough time to make crunch unnecessary.
....and the refunds they offered on consoles also put tons…
No matter how hearty a tutorial I am given, I always seem to have trouble grasping the ins-and-outs of crafting, gathering, and battling. Which weapon should I use against which creature? Which armor should I be wearing? Do I have a spare half-hour to track and battle a single large creature? The answers are, in…
no, these people don’t have to play the game and make it entertaining for 6-12 hours straight. they choose to.
If you play the normal stages and not the extra hard ones it’s doable with some practice. I played through Touhou 6 on normal, but still got the bad ending I think since I used to many continues for the last 2 two stages, I think.
I would say that all main Touhou games don’t have the exact same difficulty though. I…
Is it just me or has anime been extremely...meh the past few years?
Oh yeah, because if I’m not a cop how dare I be angry at them after the killed innocent people and don’t even spend time in jail because the system is rigged as all hell.
The trailer trying to paint the Empire as a whole as the good guys felt a bit cringey and one-sided
The “problem” of Corpse Run is that their strips are very specific in a way that most of them only make sense if you’ve played the game the strip is about.
How can there be people that didn’t know?
Look at how blocky it is and the edged have no anti-aliasing (which I’m pretty sure didn’t even exist back then), those would be smoothed out if it was prerendered.
I used to be like a lot of folks in here that believed that because digital piracy doesn’t actually take any supply from the victim that it isn’t really stealing. What I realized is companies never miss the product itself, they miss the profit associated with it.
