You can buy Star citizen too (even though it’s in early access) and I would argue it’s even the far better game. I mean, it’s not like it’s in 14 years of development hell like Duke Nukem Forever.

Oh my god, can we please get Sonic spin-off games with those designs? I thought Shadow was alright but the other ones are great!

At this point if you are still throwing money at CIG you deserve to be scammed, honestly. This project has been *transparently* sketchy for years now, badly managed from the jump and never showed any signs of cohesion at any point.

I’m trying to think of a realistic non “handsome” protegonist in Japanese games and funny enough all I can come up with is kiryu kazuma and Ichiban Kasuga, which I guess is to Nagoshi’s credit.

Games like the Persona series can afford to go ham with the HUD because you’re generally going through menus often.

I’m guessing this looks really good to the core fans

...while the current version doesn’t even run for half of the people interested in playing it because the Windows 10 Store is the biggest garbage ever created by Microsoft.

Then you’re a fool.

I’ll just copypasta my reply to chemiclord since it’s the same:

Nah, man.

I wouldn’t go that far especially without a pc version as of now but when the PC version hits it will look AMAZING.

Yeah, because deciding they don’t like what they did, scrapping it, and starting completely from scratch has been SquareEnix’s MO for years.

Oh, and if you think that they got the idea of splitting the remake into multiple games after the restart of development you’re just wrong. Everyone after at least a little bit of thinking would know that it would be impossible to remake FFVII in the style they wanted in one game, even if they didn’t heavily rewrite

Try again? They announced Part 1 in 2015.

Rocket League has been feeling like a free to play game for the last few years anyway. The game got more and more chests with skins etc that you could only open with microtransactions and you basically got nothing while playing normally. That’s what killed my motivation for playing it longer. I played on and off for a

The Last of Us also never had “Part 1" in its title, yet nobody cared when they named the second game The Last of Us Part 2.

Splitting this into multiple games is some wacky new-era Square Enix bullshit and they have REALLY lost their way.

Ummm, The Last of Us Part 2.

They pulled off Part 1 in two years. Why would they need 3 years for part 2 with already finished groundwork that they most likely will only tweek in some areas. My bet it last 2021 or early 2022.
