Right?!
Right?!
I would rather say it’s really boring.
Some franchises do that, especially older ones like Gundam from time to time.
Because it is like this in Japan?
Except that’s not true.
I enjoyed it for most of its time!
It was okay, but only because it’s gameplay was alright, even if the whole dream eater thing was unnecessary and free flow movement made the game too easy imo.
They had a lot of potential to be interesting, yes, but imo that potential wasn’t used properly. DDD introduced concepts that just seem dumb like the X’s on everyones outfits that Xehanort can track for some reason, death doesn’t mean anything for Nobodies and other things that devalue a lot of moments from the games…
and also it seems more of a supplement to the saga than a continuation of it. So it doesn’t seem to me like super important plot locked behind a mobile game
Here is the thing from my perspective:
Exactly.
Okay, but we could almost say the same about the entire Final Fantasy franchise and its spin-offs. The portion of good games in the franchise is bigger but overall most games aren’t great. (and some can be better if you enjoy the fanservice)
No DB game has been “good” for non-DB fans outside of Dragon Ball FighterZ.
AHHHHHHH I’m so excited!!!!
Also in Final Fantasy XIV for example as a healer you could map two d-pad directions to those buttons to switch between party members while moving around or easier target switching between casts.
The fuck?
Maybe it’s just me but the trailer was so ridiculously weird that I like it. It’s completely unusual for D&D, yes, but somehow that’s how they got my attention this time.
Same. I still don’t have that stupid gorilla that you get for 100 wins ._.
Similarly Rival Wings was impossible to play for a long time, you’d never get enough people for it (although it was active a bit on weekends for awhile recently).
Like Allied seals.... Oh you buy teleport tickets with them but the majority of the games instanced so where exactly are you porting to that much? Only gatherer/crafters will have a reason to port around more than a handful of times a day and 999 GIL max is a drop in a bucket for someone that is actually doing those…
