It’ll be discontinued after 3 years in production because this dinosaur of a car can’t compete with designs half its age.

I have this fantasy if I was to win the $billion lottery, I would not buy nice, expensive cars (well a Porsche GT3 and King Ranch F250 yes) but cheap cars under $10k and thrash the ever living hell out of them until they explode. Basically my own rental cars.
They’re blatantly ripping off other manufacturers, you know, like they’ve been doing for decades. If they want our respect, how about they try coming up with some original ideas for once. Hell I’ve seen some pretty impressive concept sketches from random people on the internet, it’s mind blowing that China’s car…
I have to disagree in this scenario. The Mustang is a piece of American history. If that was a photo of a brand new Lamborghini being saved most of us would say “why?". They burn themselves to the ground all the time anyway.
I’m sorry, it’s now racist to call Chinese products crap? Because this has been a universal truth for ever, Chinese products are Known for USUALLY being cheap or knock offish, at least compared to other items on the market elsewhere in the world. That’s not a racist claim. That’s an observation.
I think it’s time to go 70's retro with the Camaro. They have ridden the late 60's design into the ground. The big open front grill would actually work with the early 70's design (as it did in the early 70's with the 2 bumperettes.)
I don’t think there was a darn thing wrong with the first-iteration of the sixth gen Camaro, especially in SS/ZL1/1LE trim it is a gorgeous car in the flesh. That somebody inside GM thought the cure for bad sales was to slap that awful front bumper on the SS is just disturbing.
This sounds like the basic plot for a new Coen Brothers film....
My take the day after seeing it:

Predatory lenders are like someone walking into your house and stealing everything and justifying it by saying your door was unlocked.
You’re a bad person.
Capitalism IS amoral. And that’s fine. People operating within a free system can make their own choices. Those choices can be bad, unless you enjoy a paternalistic role of the state. Life isn’t fair and I don’t see anywhere that I described lenders as ‘good’ (remember, capitalism is amoral so good and bad aren’t…
Oh please, spare me more stories about the big bad banks. The guy apparently had $4k to put down, he could have had a nice used car for cash. Hell, in 2018 for $4k he could have a pretty decent car, now this story takes place in 1991. A 1988 Blazer was not simply an overpriced beater, he just wanted something better…
It’s weird - you never hear about people shooting at the houses of the nice, pleasant, civil sorts of streamers out there.
car enthusiests know the camaro is faster but that is not the demographic that buys these kinds of cars chevy really needs to increase consumer knowledge of exactly how much ass it kicks. Consumers just see them as equals and go with the one they like the looks of. If they knew they were buying the slower car they…
I’ve driven several. I know they’re nice cars. But I liked them smaller, I liked them when they were less about brand snobbery and more about just being quality, robust products.
I don’t know... make all the negative bullshit quality comments about FCA products you want below (I won’t reply), but $40K for a soul-sucking Camry? I’ll admit that Toyota’s design team is finally back on point, but it’s still just a Camry. I can get a 392 Charger for the same price and, unlike if I purchased a…
“Was that the timing belt?”
