These additions seem nice and the damage reduction could be nice for learning attack patterns but I think removing the lose xp on death does sort of remove the whole shtick of these kinds of rpgs. I mean without that they really aren’t that different than a non souls rpg, albeit one with shittier checkpoints.

It seems like all of the ps4 and ps5 games are downloadable and a portion(or possibly all it’s worded weird) of the ps1, ps2 and psp are also downloadable. Seems like only ps3 games have to be streamed.

Yes it always gives you just enough in the main points and if you want plenty of extra information. There’s no huge infodump at the beginning just a steady ramp up of information.

Honestly HZD has one of the better explanations for it’s apocalypse, it was a nice change of pace that there wasn’t a super weapon that saved the day. I really hope we get to go to Elysium in forbidden west, and that there are just more of the lore dump bunkers I loved going through those.
