thanks for the tip, I’ll give the shadowrun ones a read, sometimes i enjoy the world building more than the actual games themselves. I will give the star wars one a shot as well, I have heard lots of good things about it.

I’ve wanted to try shadowrun but i’ve never had enough friends to do a proper run for it(same for cyberpunk), But I will definitely give the source books a read. They’re usually fascinating even without playing the game.

yeah history says never buy a cdpr game at launch(though I’ll admit aside from crashes my experience on ps5 has been mostly fine) this wasn’t much of an exception.

That was a similarly ambitious game and it ran well on console, which makes Cyberpunk’s jankiness look even worse in comparison.

How does it handle the fact that there are several guns(mp5, uzi, ak47, 74u*, aug) in both games? are they the same or do they handle differently?

Yeah combining 2 games that play pretty differently seems very strange and difficult

I got it in the tbug training too, but now i only get it in menus. For me the crashes are the main problem, it seems truly random to me though. Sometimes I’ll go two hours with nothing and then 3 in like a half hour, hopefully the next patch helps a little.

I’ve seen enough other people with the issue so I don’t think it’s on the controller, just a bug with the game that hopefully they fix soon.

I’m on ps5 too and the crashing is almost constant, are you getting the stick drift too?

Also, every game that decides to use the control stick as a mouse pointer, and for that to be the main way of interacting inside menus, needs to stop, immediately. It’s SO ANNOYING. And it’s horrible for accessibility.

Yeah it’s definitely a bit weird. You could definitely keep wearing it ignoring the stats(armor doesn’t seem to matter much imo) but i think just having it as a “hair style” so it’s on under your actual armor would be better.

I remember seeing a hijab on an NPC and thought how nice it would have been to go through the game as a hijab wearing, alcohol refusing, practicing Muslim.
