I kind of get the feeling that people may be swapping the front ends of these with other mustang kits or something. That front end is not the greatest.

Agreed. All of those Mid-2000s Lexus are starting to hit that price range. Most have REAL high mileage (because duh, Lexus) but as an owner of a 2006 IS250, if you find a peach, scoop it up.

Annnnndddd here we go again, perpetuating the cycle. Do middling to bad, invest short term in a solution, don’t see immediately sales that you had hoped, retract to doing middling to bad. Lather, Rinse, Repeat. They always try and find a short cut and you CANNOT short cut a segment/category that you used to compete in

Infiniti (and Acura in many cases) didn’t adapt or try to further their reputations at their peak and are now “also-rans” in segments they SHOULD own. As you said, Infiniti was the “Japanese BMW” and instead of leaning in as the value alternative, they left everything on the vine and didn’t pick a direction. Hyundai

I’m sorry guys,......but the new Z4 is ugly. I really like the proportions and I certain it is better in every way but good GAWD, the front fascia is hideous and there is way too much going on in the body lines. I know, it’s subjective, but goodness I think the rear 3/4 view and the rear view are the only good angles

This is the correct answer. CTS-Vsports are stupid cheap for the amount of car you get.

That’s the issue. In VA, your dashboard cannot have any warning lights on for it to be able to pass vehicle inspection. I tried. Took the car to two different shops, and explained that it’s a low tire light because the TPMS sensors need replacing, and both said to get them replaced or they would have to fail the car.

I’d like to take this time to complain about the unwanted complexity that a lot of these passive systems bring. Some of them to bring actual value compared to their cost, but cost so much to fix and can’t be adjusted. I say this as some who spent 800 dollars to get new TPMS sensors in their car, because the sensor

You know, there is another v8 coupe that, although not as good looking, is hovering around the same price, is more reliable, and still has some warranty left. Sure you lose out on AWD, but if you don’t get snow.....

I. live. in. Arlington.....

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!

I’m saving this to the “Read Me Later” folder, because I’m knee deep in spreadsheets, but I wanted to get a comment in before “WE DONT SEE COLOR WHAT IS THE PURPOSE OF THIS MADNESS?!” happens and say thanks for writing this.

There are ones floating around with half as many miles in the 15-17k range, so I would say to ask the the seller to lop some of the price off and then it’s NP.

Underrated comment

I agree with you, but the big picture again to me is this poor regulation attempt (along with any stronger regs ALREADY ON THE BOOKS) and any BETTER attempt will now be gone for the foreseeable future, thanks to this new implementation. “This brand new house we build, has busted window fixtures. We MUST burn this

The lead is kinda of buried. This isn’t a move to rid the market of an (albeit) problematic guideline, it’s a move to discontinue the ability for particular regulatory authorities to further provide or make guidelines to abide by, by using said problematic regulation as coverage. Basically, they are using a

Excceeellleennttt. ATSes are already STEALS sitting on dealer lots (Fully loaded, Mag ride, all the safety features, v6, AWDs are sitting around $22-25 grand with 10-20k miles or less on them in my area). Yes the backseat is cramped, Yes the trunk is smaller, but for low 5 figures ($15-19k) you

My friend, is that a Maryland plate I see. I live in Arlington. Your car looks gorgeous.

They are the worst. No one wants V8 power AND reliability. Especially the Blue ones. I can’t imagine a worst color combination than Ultrasonic Blue and gunmetal gray wheels. barf!

That’s what I am saying. Shut up about the IS-F. It seems that prices have just a little bit more to go before rock bottom, as you can get one under 30k with about 80k miles. Everyone who has one is holding it and the ones out in the wild might need a little bit of love. It’s almost time to scoop these up.
