I basically stop commenting on most Jalopnik stuff because the comment section are A-1 “Stop making everything about Race” types.I read my sections and keep to commenting on things where you can talk about different experiences without people going full “What IN TARNATION?”

The MKS Ecoboost is the Highway cruising steal here. It’s a little garish, but in all black, it’s basically a stealth bomber. No one sees it coming and no cares enough to pull it over. It would make the perfect getaway car.

Aren’t the TRL dudes up in Colorado? All of their drag races come with that “We are a mile above sea level, if the engine is NA, it’s not going to go like it should”. Not that it would change the current HP/TQ advantage but it does make it more pronounced.

Eddie has a right to be upset.....but Eddie is also the type to use black culture and consequently throw it under the bus when it suits him. He uses his proximity to whiteness with aplomb so I kinda shrug when he is the one to call Steve Harvey out on his bullshit. He should....but glass houses and all that.

Why isn’t this the top choice? These things will actually never die. When we reach nuclear fallout, it will be these and cockroaches to re-populate the planet.

If this is as reliable as the current LS, Lexus may have one up over BMW. This thing looks S-Class nice and everything about it is just working for me right now. It’s arrestingly attractive.

This looks infinitely more interesting than that G80 sedan I am assuming this is based on. It looks fantastic, but I am wondering where they are going to put this. Like, in between the Optima and the K900? Below the G80 Sport? I mean, the 535i M-Sport starts at 60k. If this thing is half priced, and priced in the same

Dammit! I just bought the 16GB version, refurbed for $230 in December.

Basically. The only ones holding relative value are the special editions. HTe rest are dropping nice and steady. Tell bae that she looks so good in the car that it doesn’t matter if she falls on the way out.

It’s the Gallardo.

The Lexus is a great choice but whoever said they depreciated like a stone isn’t paying attention. That car has hit the bottom of it’s curve and is starting to go up because that v8 will probably last just as long as, if not longer than an LS motor, and it’s competitors (although slightly better) are ticking

This is a great answer. If you are only using it for Uber, its big, efficient and incredibly comfy.

Not for anything but the rear dimensions aren’t doing this car any favors. It’s definitely not the looker of the new MB Coupes.

Honestly, the LS has a rabid of fanbase of old guys who don’t want their S-Class to break and young guys who drive these things into the ground when they depreciate...and still wont break. Lexus needs to improve the upper portions of the LS range (Hybrid motors, bigger motors, sportier offerings, etc) but nobody does

My family has always owned at least 1 acura in the garage as they have been workhorse for our “WE LIKE NICE THINGS!(but are cheapskates)“ family. The TL-S is such a great car but sadly, everyone knows it now. That is A LOT of mileage for, even for stalwart Hondas and for that kind of change there are other more

Mazda needs to revive this car on the Miata platform. Stretch it out to RX-8 size and put the Turbo 2.5 in it as the top trim. It could compete, seeing as a the 370z is old, and the muscle cars are different buyers. I could see someone wanting a “personal luxury coupe” that does not want to pay 40k to get into a base

We deserved poverty form when that Astra came out. We deserved it!

Ok, but I’m still waiting for this...

Come OOONNNNNN Black Panther. Hell, if there are no X-Men, just give BP Wolverine’s moveset. I just need Black Panther!

Neutral: Does The Midsize Sedan Have A Future?

·Yes, I only think a few companies are seeing the writing on the wall. Toyota is trying to give the Camry a bit more upmh and Mazda makes probably the best handling sedan in it’s class. If Mazda is listening, here is what you do: to sell a “liftback” Mazda6 with AWD. If
