Targa Miata? TARGA MIATA!

I can’t say much because I know these are going to sell like hotcakes, but 48 grand for a entry level base model cute-ute is A LOT of cheddar to be throwing around, or is that just me?

See, my opinion is weird, I know, but I think the new MKX (design wise, as I haven’t driven either) beats this. As a matter of fact, I think Lincolns would sell more if they tried some new with their marketing and maybe changed the demographics they were aiming for. This isn’t a neg on the review, which is good, but

Exactly my point. It’s a parts bin special that looks looks worlds better on “less prestigeous” cars/trucks but they want you to shell out Cadillac money. The base Acura RDX starts 4 grand less than this and does more with less. The base RX350 is 2 grand more than the XT5 and is worlds better. Besides a dedicated

CADILLAC! NOOOOO! STAAAAHHHPPPPPP!

Cadillac, how many times must people tell you to stop this nonsense? No one is going to pay 40 grand for this. NO ONE. My fault, no one who you want to bring on as new buyers. This isn’t new or modern or even a classic design. No one my age (25-35) is going to want to drop that kind

That has been my experience, too

See, that makes more sense. On the note, it stated “Gap insurance” and I think Wheel and tire was $800. Why would I ever pay that much over the life of a 11 grand car? That’s almost 30% added on top, IN CASE I ever get into a vehicle slaughter of irreparable magnitude.

My guy, I promise you that I am not exaggerating, at least not by much. I almost walked out of the dealership that I bought the car at because of how much it “would” have been. Gap would have been almost 80$/month tacked on the loan with the “service’ they were offering. My payment went from $340 to $257

See, I get that. Suggest “Wheel and tire” on a Nissan Versa Note and you are trying rob people.

I still say that it’s “Gap insurance”and “Wheel and Tire” service on some cars nowadays.

I just bought car for around 11 grand, that was worth about 10 grand, and the gap insurance would have cost me something like 3 grand over the life of the loan I took out (3 years). Nope, I’m good.

That’s fair. I actually didn’t phrase that correctly. I understand what you are saying. The rich did buy new cars, so dealers catered. Nothing wrong with that, except that regular people either had to buy new or buy REALLY used (worn). I’d argue that there wasn’t many “affordable options” that weren’t past their prime

Neutral: Are We Headed For An Auto Loan Crisis?·

I agree. I actually find these to be better than 996 Porsches that people are trying to snap up in the low 20s. It’s newer, more powerful, more reliable, can cart around a TON of stuff, and you have to deal with a crudy interior no matter which you get. Give me C6.

This probably is my favorite one. These things are going to be the “Holy crap, you can get one of these for how much now?” bargains soon too. I HAVE to start squirreling money away.

It’s very true. Every once and a while it shows through in the comment section and is just a great reminder of where people sit in this commentariat.

That’s a “short stack” that’s a different thing. Easily confused.

Sadly, it isn’t.

Alright, Black People, it’s been fun, but it seems Jalopnik and Orlove have found Black Twitter and read it for about a day. It is definitely time to change addresses before they find out about $200 dates and how much a “stack” is.

Nope. A upscale Type-R for around 35k would be perfect. Sure, there is STIFF competition in that range but I want to see if Honda can go back to making Hondas/Acuras again. I also want the TLX with the rumored Type-R motor, SH-AWD, and the stick out of the S2000 for what I would consider the best daily driver on

God, Northern Virginia/DC is going to be swarmed with these things driven by Consultant Bros. I just hope they take care of them so I can pick-who am I kidding?- no they won’t.
