I still say that it’s “Gap insurance”and “Wheel and Tire” service on some cars nowadays.

I just bought car for around 11 grand, that was worth about 10 grand, and the gap insurance would have cost me something like 3 grand over the life of the loan I took out (3 years). Nope, I’m good.

That’s fair. I actually didn’t phrase that correctly. I understand what you are saying. The rich did buy new cars, so dealers catered. Nothing wrong with that, except that regular people either had to buy new or buy REALLY used (worn). I’d argue that there wasn’t many “affordable options” that weren’t past their prime

Neutral: Are We Headed For An Auto Loan Crisis?·

I agree. I actually find these to be better than 996 Porsches that people are trying to snap up in the low 20s. It’s newer, more powerful, more reliable, can cart around a TON of stuff, and you have to deal with a crudy interior no matter which you get. Give me C6.

This probably is my favorite one. These things are going to be the “Holy crap, you can get one of these for how much now?” bargains soon too. I HAVE to start squirreling money away.

It’s very true. Every once and a while it shows through in the comment section and is just a great reminder of where people sit in this commentariat.

That’s a “short stack” that’s a different thing. Easily confused.

Sadly, it isn’t.

Alright, Black People, it’s been fun, but it seems Jalopnik and Orlove have found Black Twitter and read it for about a day. It is definitely time to change addresses before they find out about $200 dates and how much a “stack” is.

Nope. A upscale Type-R for around 35k would be perfect. Sure, there is STIFF competition in that range but I want to see if Honda can go back to making Hondas/Acuras again. I also want the TLX with the rumored Type-R motor, SH-AWD, and the stick out of the S2000 for what I would consider the best daily driver on

God, Northern Virginia/DC is going to be swarmed with these things driven by Consultant Bros. I just hope they take care of them so I can pick-who am I kidding?- no they won’t.

Heres the thing: The beak works on the MDX and the (newer) RDX, it doesn’t work on anything else. The TLX is also a good looking sedan but it got it’s balls cut off from that great concept design (and the fact that it doesn’t have that nice Honda 6-speed). I think that concept photo above looks WORSE than the current

Came here for this, and was not disappointed.

That’s the thing: Unless they are BRAND SPANKING NEW, these just tell us that you could afford the lease.

WE MISSED OUT ON HYDRA BOB AND TASKMASTER?!?! BURN IT ALL DOWN!!!

Is that why these things have the depreciation of wood flooring at a brothel? There are 2014s going for half price online. That is bonkers!

FCA messed up by not offering a Dodge/Chrysler version of the MiTo and the Guiletta. They could have had a cool, fun to drive, euro style hatchback with a stick or auto that would have beat the Mazda3 TO THE PUNCH. It looks like a European girl next door, named Jeanette. Instead, we got the Dart which looks like the

Yep. And I saw the new CTS with updated gauges at the Washington Auto Show last week. I’m so happy they decided to drop the hubris and change those stupid “2003 Impala” gauges that were sitting in the ATS and CTS.
