While she’s definitely grown as a vocalist since then and has more prominently featured her voice in a number of high profile perfomances - both Oscar performances, the National Anthem at the Super Bowl, her duets album with Tony…

And Stephen Sondheim said Madonna couldn’t sing worth a damn.

Fuuuuuuuuckin Speechless is my favorite of her songs. It’s GORGEOUS and her voice is unfuckingbelievable.

I get that people compare Madonna and Gaga because Gaga has released songs that seem to have been “inspired” to say the least by Madonna’s music. However, constantly comparing the two is unfair to them both. Do people compare male pop stars constantly? Because this is a trend when it comes to female celebrities.

I’ll take a stab at it. On the defensive side, Fairy is weak to Steel, but the Water half cancels that weakness out. On the offensive side, Fairy moves are ineffective against Fire types, but you could just use Water moves.

That’s the difference between a trained musician and an amateur.  

We already knew she can sing, we do not need any prove or evidence.

Wow. Million Reasons just made me tear up. Either she is a very good actress or that song is deeply personal. You could feel her emotions. And damn did I relate.

I’m not a Lady Gaga fan, but was there ever any doubt that she can sang? She’s a trained musician.

this is one of my favourite Gaga moments! So freaking good. She’s always been an amazing singer no matter how you feel about her actual music, technically, she is mindblowing.

And camel toe!!

Because “Perfect Illusion” is terrible and A-YO should have been the first single.

This is why comparisons between Lady Gaga and Madonna are unfair.

I really like this song and Lady Gaga is starting to become one of my favorite singers. I wonder why she didn’t play Perfect Illusion though? Isn’t that her first single?

Her performance of Speechless on Ellen from years ago totally sold me on her vocal abilities
