Oh so that’s what happened when they left the attic.

I dunno. Some guys are into quality acting, ya know...
That’s not what cheating is about. Cheaters don’t go looking for someone hotter.
He didnt slut shame her.
Fire, eh ;)
I agree! Honestly can’t believe she is functioning.
Julia gets a free pass for even being out in public this soon after her loss.
Um, maybe she was distracted because she lost her father on Friday?
Well, I am very, very black and I can name them. I can also name all of the Primarchs, Legion Number, and Worlds of Rediscovery from Warhammer 40K. A nerd is a nerd.
This thread has been such an education.
Nope. “Alejandro” was bad Ace of Base. And “La Isla Bonita” was tacky appropriation of the 80's “Latin” craze. Witness this track from 1983, four years before “La Isla Bonita” (Madge was always sure to nick from sources less popular than she):
Yes. Gaga copied Madonna by getting an Oscar nomination for best original song. And doing a Grammy-winning album of jazz standards with a living legend. And having a solid singing voice that draws praise from industry veterans like Tony Bennett, Julie Andrews, Patti Austin and Elton John.
Gaga has pinched from Bowie (a lot), Freddie Mercury, Leigh Bowery, Warhol, Cher, Elton John, Liza Minnelli, Annie Lennox and loads of others. And having a better voice has helped a lot, too. People who harp on the Madonna thing forget how much Madonna stole back when the Internet wasn’t around to check her thefts…
Me too. It doesn’t sound like any of her previous work, but is still unquestionably a Gaga song. It’s not my favorite of hers, but I can definitely imagine aggressive dancing to it.
And I’m kinda disappointed by the description. When I read “wall of shrill sounds” I expect something really cacophonous. This just sounds…
Take heart. You are not alone. Not in a crowd either, but ... good company!
Disagree completely. This is a great pop song with a hard rock edge. Gaga’s voice is more powerful than ever and there is nothing “shrill” about this. I think it’s great. This song was made for the dance floor, not for people’s tinny phone and computer speakers.
Completely disagree. As a singer I have to say that her pitch is perfect and her voice is very powerful here.
You are so brave for saying so. I stand with you.
You’re either very badly informed or a Madonna stan.
I have always respected Gaga because she tries so freaking hard to be different and the same all at once. Plus, she is more talented than people give her credit for and she is your annoying art friend that thinks she’s more cool than she really is.
