I understand the disappointment with the lack of non-European immigrant legacy recipes. I also think had she included them someone would criticize her for a lack of authenticity and cultural appropriation. It’s kind of a lose/lose position to be in.

I think it’s pretty clear she’s writing about the stuff from her background that she grew up with.
