Trying to force the mythology was never a strong point for The X-Files, I think they did much better with the episodic monster-of-the-week episodes. Luckily I’m pretty sure only the opening and closing episodes are going to be mythology based and the rest episodic.

I think Fringe was damn close to a perfect show! And the ending was a billion times better than the ending of Lost. I hated the ending of Lost so much that I will NEVER go back and watch any of that show again, atrocious.

But by that logic, Mulder being a Holocaust denier would make sense too. So clearly they are making some choices for the sake of good taste.

I would say that Fringe certainly ended better than Lost did.

So, I heard Mulder turned out to be a 9/11 Truther right?
Ugh. Maybe it was just easier for me to handle all that conspiracy stuff in the 90s because those weren’t the people running the country.

My only problem with it was the “it was all a lie!”, that’s just flat out fucking contradictory to what has been shown in the show, as well as flashbacks in the show, AND they pulled that plot before in season 5.

Abortion rights have nothing to do with how Healthcare is paid for in general. It’s an ad hoc issue that he happens to have a longer record of support than Clinton.

Everything that is not directly about economic equality takes a back seat in Bernie’s platform. It’s not that he’s against women’s rights, Black Lives Matter, etc., it’s that he doesn’t have a subjective feeling of their importance.

I think HRC supporters are desperate to discredit him anyway they can.

Kind of like Sanders suddenly found it expedient to care about reproductive rights after a campaign of marked by no-shows, no-mentions and recognizing Planned Parenthood more as an organization which failed to help him and less a provider of health care.

Sanders is awesome. But he came out in favor of marriage equality in 2009, 4 years before Clinton (not decades), and is on record as opposing DOMA on procedural grounds.

Bernie Sanders was NOT a supporter of gay marriage.

my question is where is Hillary’s advocacy on those issues?

A Gawker site with a real criticism of Bernie Sanders. A story in which something derogatory about him was actually there, in print, for all to see. I applaud your courage Anna Merlan.

Hello, I have a question: what in the actual fuck does “the establishment” even mean? Because it seems to me that people who rail against it pretty consistently fail to a) define what they mean by “establishment” to begin with and b) explain why “the establishment” is a Bad Thing.

Yeah, I don't like this one bit. And Bernie is an old, white straight man who has been in congress for decades. How is he not establishment?

I’m still baffled that a literal career politician can accuse others of being part of the “establishment”. You’ve been in congress for 35 years, Bernie. If you’re not part of the establishment yet, what the fuck have you been doing with your time there? Just whining about changes but not making meaningful ones happen?

Bernie Sanders:

Omigawd enough with the Establishment whining awready. All he’s doing is sounding petulant about not getting the endorsement. Step up the game or step aside.
