I honestly think it was (my opinion here) a vast misunderstanding of what the community wanted. The community wanted more elemental primary’s... so Bungie moved secondary guns to the heavy slot and doubled down on primary’s, which wasnt what the community asked for.

i would have the exact same experience with the oppostice opinions. I had sub 1.0 kd (like .75) and would find a way to eek out rank 5 on one toon by Thursday and rank 5 on the rest by Sunday.

There was a minimum recommend level, that if you were lower than, you did lower damage and took more damage. It was barely noticable 3-5 levels... more than that it was huge (like 20%).

Last I played D1, a nightfall wipe didnt send you back to orbit... it used to but they changed it. Granted i havent played D1 since last spring so maybe they changed it back
