Don't think I'll use this over Skype. Fact of the matter being, I don't like calling email addresses.

@DangerousDac175: This is an article on FaceTime, a new port of an Apple app from iPhone to Mac. I think you want the Fleshbot site for that last post maybe?

@zelannii: Thank you. That about summed up what I thought.

@metronome49: ...and also costs extra unless you happen to use an iMac circa 2010.

@rhorizon: If optional graphics work for the MacBook Pro, with plenty of time since that design was released, I would have thought it possible (and plausible) for Apple to put the same tech in their poster child.

@ivan256: Well, I wasn't banking on Apple putting a Core i7 in their airy little laptop, but the i5 ULV version would have been nice.

@denisnossevitch: That's the third thing that came to my mind as well... And this time, it's actually a possibility. I didn't need the added functionality on my iPod and iPad, but my laptop is pretty much my work horse...

C2D. Really. Couldn't design a Core3/Core5 board quickly enough to push the product out before the holidays, is more like it.

Next issue: How will existing programs integrate into the Mac App Store? I already have iWork, Parallels, Steam, Skype. Will the Mac App Store recognise those or do you want me to pay for them again?

Will they ship Lion with a trackpad?

A lot of people will probably end up buying the N8. Although buying may technically be the wrong term - these people will get the N8 because it's the most worthwhile option within their contracts.

iWork.com could be coming out of beta.

@Chris Giddings: My point exactly. I'm happy with my iOS devices.

From a consumer standpoint, what is the drawback of having choice?

Did anybody else find that apostrophe in front of "pads" (3rd paragraph) amusing?

@moonshadowkati: I agree completely. In fact, that is the exact dilemma primary helpers face when in need of an AED. I've seen AEDs in the craziest of places (when I was in Tokyo, I made it a point to take pictures). But when you're in a pinch, you'll still be hard pressed to get your hands on one.

@Bant: Electric Burger: At least in some European countries, that would constitute a felony. But a lot of countries already have implemented a single emergency line/number, so that shouldn't be a problem. I know that in the US, things are sometimes a little more complicated.

@EthanPeter: Where are they gonna go? That's the part I never understand. If they have a mobile phone, where are they gonna go? If they don't have a mobile phone, someone else definitely does.

@moonshadowkati: You don't have to put your mouth on the patient's. Actually, it's discouraged. But pocket masks are freely available. They're handing them out to drivers to put on their car keys. Takes about 5 seconds to put on someone's face.
