“I’ve never loved the all-red Honda livery...”
I believe that the 1976 Plymouth Volare I bought new was worst single automobile ever produced, anywhere, by anybody. I stopped counting at 100 defects. The gearshift linkage was assembled to give the ever-popular 1-2-4-3 shift pattern. By the time that I sold it at 4X,XXX miles the second transmission was failing. It…
Being unencumbered by any relevant knowledge or experience, I would be surprised if this bridge could be completed in the time reported and for the amount indicated in the article. If anyone can get this properly built on time and under budget, the Governor of Maryland should kiss their ass at high noon on the steps…
It would be interesting to see if a team with Newey and Hamilton would be as dominant as Red Bull has been in recent years with Newey and Verstappen.
My dream garage is not realistic:
I was fortunate enough to see two Can-Am races at Laguna Seca in the 1969-1971 time frame. They were fantastic. The roar of the those big V8s was like nothing else I have ever heard, even more impressive than the Trans-Am cars I got to see on the same track.

Back in the day, I owned, and loved, a Bugeye Sprite. I have no problem with calling it “goofy.” I am sure that I often had a goofy grin while I was driving it.
“Hell, I’m not even very smart...”
“...I get the biggest smile riding something small and nimble.”
Back in the day, a friend of mine rented an Aspire. He thought it was an appropriate name because “...it aspired to be a car.”
Were you able to recharge the battery overnight on household current?
1,000 mile blast up I-95 from south Florida to the DC region in a 2000 Wrangler pulling a small trailer. Loud and a rough ride.
I was born in 1946, a year in which many of the cars sold were continuations of pre WWII models. I am not familiar with most of the cars introduced that year, so I will chose the King Midget because I daily drove a 1969 model from 1971-1973. It was vastly improved from the original, with 12 roaring horsepower, but it…
“But this car is definitely happening, for real this time.”
“I don’t want a series filled with gimmicks that serve as band-aids slapped onto major wounds of systemic issues.”
