In 1976, I bought a new Volare which was the worst single automobile ever made. Almost every part or system on it was terrible. The slant six, however, was very reliable. It made so little power that, when I lived in the desert, I hated to park it on asphalt on a hot summer day because it had to strain to pull itself

“The behavior these women describe is horrifying, but the veracity of their claims will be analyzed in court.”

VW print ads from the 1960s are my favorites.

“Tesla CEO Elon Musk has thoughts about federal EV subsidies, which is that they should end, along with federal subsidies for oil and gas. This is a position that, like almost every Elon position, is half-right, in that subsidies for oil and gas absolutely should end, while subsidies for EVs should increase, since

Elizabeth, give the guy a break. IIRC, you are 25. If by the time you are 75, as I am, you have never done anything worse than this involving an automobile, you will have led a charmed life. Back in the day, 1950s-1980s, my Mom would make a large batch of iced sugar cookies for the holiday season. When my sister and I left home, she would always mail us some. After the grandkids came along, they got sugar cookies, into their 20s. Her cookies were thin, crisp, and and shipped well.

How well does the CVT work?

Having lived through that era, I think that era, I think that “Sport Size” means “too large on the outside and too small on the inside.”

This is a good article. Long distance trips are still a reality for many of us and the charging infrastructure needs improvement.
